Americans are living the nightmare of the Eternal Presidency. The presidency is not meant to be a sinecure-- that once their term is up, taxpayers should be forced to endure the ex-prez's whining about "unfinished business." They get 4-8 years at it---if they failed...too frickin' bad.

What invention did necessity invent in this discussion. You're using a metaphor that explains nothing.

What organization beyond Trump's for President exists? Before you break something, something should be available to replace it. This is what Obama didn't consider when he broke Iraq, Libya, and Syria. Something better needs to be in place. An egomaniacal and vain presidential candidate is not an organization; he's not a political party.

A true conservative doesn't destroy something if nothing else is in place. What is in place? Will we just wait till the destruction occurs and assume, like a phoenix, a new party will arrive that's a majority party and conservative. Meanwhile, do you think while the GOP is being destroyed the Democrats will be unelected?

The GOP needs to be forced to follow its largest group, the conservatives. Whom will you force to follow the conservatives if there is no party? It's easy to destroy something. It's another thing to build it. No party has been built yet to replace the GOP that would be favorable to most of us. If, however, you're in favor of strengthening liberalism, destroy the only opposition to it (regardless of how feeble) and you'll get your wish.
