Words fail me ...
Hmmmm.
From the Lansing State Journal:
“Police said there was a verbal exchange between the suspect and Rodeman moments before the incident.
“The suspect came by, was upset for whatever reason (and) circled back around” before running into the firefighter, Kraus said. “The preliminary investigation is that he deliberately hit the firefighter who was standing in the road, collecting for the charity.”
The suspect, who was driving a small pickup truck, continued north on Cedar Street and eventually was stopped in the 3100 block of Lawdor Road, Lansing police Capt. Darin Southworth said in a news release. He ran from the vehicle and was caught by officers.”
I have never thought standing in the middle of the road collecting money for charity was a good idea...
And if this person intentionally targeted the firefighter, I hope they rot in jail.
While it is only my supposition, I bet it is more blood on the shoulders of Obummer and his “Black Lives Matter” dirtbags. The guy is pure evil.
Standing in traffic, creating an unsafe situation, and causing delays for already frustrated commuters who would immediately be arrested if they tried to do the same thing is just one more way firefighters and police flaunt the fact that some animals are more equal than others; having been in this situation while coming home from work, I can understand why someone might get angry. But cold blooded murder is obviously not an appropriate channel for that anger, and the perp should rot in jail.
You know if that drivers name had been Joe Smith or something similar his name would have been plastered all over this article .
More stories but not much more info. It doesn’t appear that visibility was an issue.

There will probably be more info later today so I’ll keep an eye on the story.
No defending the driver, but these people who stand at busy intersections collecting money for charity have always scared me. This sort of thing was bound to happen sooner or later.
Just Saturday I handed one of them a couple of bucks out my window and urged him to “be careful out there!”
Thanks for the post; ping. Condolences to family and friends of firefighter, Rodeman.
Police say the truck first drove away but then turned around and hit the firefighter. They aren’t sure what the driver’s motive was.
Semper Fi, Marine!
Prayers for your widow, unborn child, and family and friends during this time of grieving.
News story from Lansing TV channel. Story starts at 1:52 mark. Video clearly shows damage to vehicle and windshield of white pickup where Dennis Rodeman’s head struck windshield.
This was an assassination by motor vehicle by a subhuman.
