It’s not Trump’s fault. It’s the media. all the media are playing gotcha trying to get trump to say something they can use against him as Megyn Kelly did. We’ve seen them do this to Palin , Cain etc.

Every one has said something stupid or done something stupid . Who hasn’t regretted something they’ve said or done? The media just plays gotcha and then they broadcast anything that they think will hurt Trump over a million media outlets every minuted of the day for months.

The media did the same thing to Sarah Palin and others. Many liberals and low info voters still think Palin is a joke and dumb because of those media smears. I even talked to people from Australia that think those media smears are true.

But they ignore all the crimes that Obama has committed and all the problems that they the media have imposed on America as in illegals.

A real news media would be reporting on real issues and problems and things the president and the government has done wrong , not a single comment by someone that is just running in an attempt to affect the election by destroying Trump.

We have to call the media on what they are doing . the media are the enemy.

The media don’t report on the debt, unemployment, illegal immigration, Iran deal, Obama’a many crimes including the IRS oppression of conservatives , that Obama is trying to give nukes to Iran, executive amnesty, Obama trade etc. etc. no that is not news to them but a comment that said by Trump that the media think will hurt Trump oh that’s the top news so they say.

The media is the enemy and they’ve destroyed the USA and many on here are taking the media’s side and going along with the lynching. incredibly these here try to help the media destroy the one that could save them and us.

He’s not a gentleman. Can you be the leader of the free world without being a gentleman? What would his mother say about this stuff?

He doesn't have it in him. His lack of class and decorum is the elephant in the room. We've heard it said all our lives that money can't buy class. Donald Trump is the quintessential example of that truth. Soon his diarrhea of the mouth is going to do him in. I look so forward to that day. I'm weary of hearing him blab on and on and on and on. The sooner he goes back to his reality TV/pop culture/businessman life the better.

Agreed.

“Can you be the leader of the free world without being a gentleman?”

Winston Churchill was a great leader - but from the few anecdotes he is famous for, I’m guessing he wasn’t a gentleman. (I’m not a fan of Trump, and I wish he wouldn’t attack another Republican with such stupid stuff.)

I have trashed Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Obama, McCain...

I’ve done so in part because their face so annoys me, that the idea of seeing them announcing policy over four or eight years would seriously bother me.

This is the same thing Trump said about Fiorina, and now all of a sudden it’s a terrible thing to say.

When I voiced those same sentiments about the others mentioned above, all I got were high fives here on Free Republic.

You don’t remember seeing that sort of thing said on the forum about any of those guys?

This feigned astonishment that Trump could say something like this, is just laughable to me.

Yawn, she is not my type. No, I cannot imagine her as president and if she were my boss, I’d quit or get her fired.

The latest in a long line of cheap shots from Trump. Fiorina was pretty gracious about it in the FNC interview last night.

If Rubio or Bush had uttered those words about Fiorina we’d be seeing a whole different reaction here on FR.

But, The Donald.

Her skills at failing to run a business profitably are well known, and That is the only thing that concerns me.

I’m not a Carly fan. However, the CEO of INTEL recently said that her decisions as head of HP kept the corporation from bankruptcy and made it a top business success.

I don’t think Trump’s remark about Fiorina was about her attractiveness. I think it was a truthful statement of how things are in many parts of the world. I think that is what Trump meant by “are we serious”? Nobody in our PC country wants to admit that Islamist leaders will never take a female leader seriously, especially an arguably attractive female, but that is the way it is. I don’t think he meant she was ugly and I don’t think the islamo-terrorists take the Danish PM or the German Chancellor very seriously either, just because they are women.

What was the context of the statement? Was it said off the record. Most men and women have made the same exact statement.

So when Obama said you can’t put lipstick on a pig (referring to Palin) FReepers went crazy. It was unpresidential, sexist, etc.

When Trump does it, FReepers defend it and think it is OK.

Hypocrisy on display. But hypocrisy is what Trump supporters are all about.

Carly can turn this on Trump quite easily, but she needs to do it with humor, not anger.

Trump seems to enjoy saying things that would cripple if not destroy any other candidate. It seems to be an ego thing: "I'm so big I don't have to play by the rules." This is hubris. He will self-destruct. The only question is whether this happens in the primaries, or in the general.
