Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that while Theres only so much we can do. We have to fix our own country the US should help as much as possible with the European refugee crisis and possibly let some refugees into the US on Fridays broadcast of MSNBCs Morning Joe.
Trump was asked about the European refugee crisis and, Should we be letting some of those people into this country?
He answered, So horrible on a humanitarian basis when you see that. Its like incredible whats going on. But, you know, we have so many problems. And the answer is possibly yes, Cokie, possibly yes.

How dare they judge Trump on the things he says and does!!
It is outrageous!!
You are not a credible prognosticator. You continue to deny what is staring you in the face.
Plus your handle z taxman is about as repellant as they come.
The Christians are being slaughtered. obama won’t let them in but he lets muslims in. Can’t fault Trump for standing up for the Christians.
What I want in the next President is someone who will tell the GOP to go fly.. and tell the Dems they have had their day... and UNDO all the damage obama has done. I want someone to stand up to the media and break the juggarhold the politicians have on Washington. I want to see the GOP squirm. I want to see Krauthammer and Wills cry on Fox News.
I don’t care what party the next President is.. If he fits the above, then I’m for him. The Conservatives in Washington are anything but... and the left are commies. Labels are long past what they used to be. I’m tired of being insulted by the party who we gave the House and then the Senate, to. They have done nothing but fiddle their fingers. A Conservative without the balls to stand up to them all... is not worth a dime.
That is a lie. Unlike you, who apparently believes posters aren't smart enough to read an entire article, I fully expect all here to do just that.
Trump didn't say he "would bring in these people, and I have never said he did. What he did say was he "possibly" would do so. So again I ask, what would have been wrong with saying an emphatic NO?
But what about all our people here in the U.S. who are jobless and who have already received their maximum allotment of food stamps? Do just cast them aside and forget about them thus seeing them and their teenagers, and folks of all ages become flat out hungry, that they will resort to more car jackings, theft, strong armed robbery and murder....to keep from going hungry?? No, at some point unfortunately we must just have to let...."God sort them out."
Cruz has specified Syrian Christian refugees.
I would allow some of them in if they are Christians, but muslims?
Like you said, “No thanks.”
But yet we make deals with Iran and unwittingly support IS by continuing to arm/support the so-called Syrian rebels. A true circle jerk.
They were known as "Scoop Jackson" Democrats.
Throw another nothing burger on the fire. What else is he supposed to say?
I read that most of the “refugees” are able-bodied young males.
LOL, you are one of the usual bash Trump posters. Just couldn’t resist, could you?
I thought freepers were smart? How hard is it to see what Trump REALLY said here? Hint, he said NOTHING! It's politicalspeak meant to seemingly soften his message without committing to a single thing.
"Possibly", "as much as we can", "only so much we can do", "have to fix our own country"
C'mon people this ain't rocket science.
"Possibly" is not a NO.
He should have answered NO.
If Trump chose Michelle Obama as his running mate these people would defend it. :-P
Dunno...we’ll see.
Yup, all the usual suspects are here.
Even a casual read of the article proves that the title of this thread is totally misleading.
A flat NO! to the possibility of letting in even a single refugee, of any stripe, is not going to be voiced by ANY candidate. Imagine the headline if trump had said “NO, absolutely NO, never! not a single refugee regardless of the circumstances, NO!”
I don’t need to. On the contrary to some opinions, Trump is not Atilla the Hun.
If he wouldn't do it, what would have been wrong with saying NO?
