For all the talk about Donald Trump allegedly driving minorities away from the Republican Party, could he actually bring people in?
A SurveyUSA poll released Friday shows in a hypothetical matchup with Hillary Clinton, Trump is ahead 45% to 40%.
But digging into the racial breakdown of the respondents is revealing. For example, the poll finds 25% of black respondents say they would vote for Trump over Clinton.
How impressive is that?

A poll this small simply isn’t reliable for segmenting off sub-groups. It had about 1,000 respondents. That means maybe 100 blacks. 100 is not enough to get a reliable number off of.
I think he’ll do better with blacks than most Republican presidential candidates, because they often seem drawn to flashy celebrities, but this poll simply can’t statistically prove that given the small number of that sub-group polled.

If you have influence in DC politics, what are you doing to encourage REAL industrial trades education in DC public schools, or any other big city school system for that matter? Blacks are just not getting the training and experience that Hispanics are bringing with them. In a generation if the parents are not teaching their young Hispanics these skills, then they will be suffering too, and we will still be getting lots of migrants to do that kind of work. Illegally or legally.
It helps if “your child” actually has the training and experience to do the job. Where is the industrial training that once upon a time took place in our schools? Where are the union apprenticeships, especially for black kids? Even where there are big construction jobs that local blacks could do, other (white) workers are often imported to do the jobs, when they are not given to more experienced Hispanics.
What part is he expanding? IRS? maybe? i don’t know. Killing obamacare kills alot in IRS.

personal judgment/character goes a long way. and in the end is the only viable criteria. i speak this from personal experience as to how i measure up to my peers and aboves at work and life.

EXACTLY! Thank for the anecdotes. I’m in So Cal and dream of those things happening here. All of the jobs my friends and I had as teens, all of the jobs that get you stated in the workforce or that you can fall back on if things get really tough.
Blacks don’t like Mexican illegals taking “their stuff”.
Yeah, like their neighborhoods, their schools, their local businesses, and their jobs.
Blacks are more directly impacted by illegal immigration than any other demographic in the country.

I didn’t say all. I just think more will find his style more appealing. So 25% May be low but 40% too high. Again just my opinion. Some of the population likes a outwardly strong, vocal leader. They associate that bravado with winning.
I could also be completely wrong. Culturally many blacks like the sign of confidence over humility or compassion.
I consider him odd. Not a nut but odd. I consider most politicians dog shit pond scum. So odd isn’t too bad. At this time there are other candidates (maybe just 1) that I think highly off. After that I will take odd.
We cannot survive another demopuplican or republicrat. Maybe odd is as good as this country deserves right now. Sad but it’s the way it may work out yet again there is many miles to go before this race is over.
