Pope Francis has called on every European parish and religious community to take in one refugee family each in a gesture of solidarity he said would start in the tiny Vatican state where he lives.

Pope Francis said: “I appeal to the parishes, the religious communities, the monasteries and sanctuaries of all Europe to … take in one family of refugees,” he said after his customary Sunday address in the Vatican.

That’s the part that steams me. It’s like, Oh the Prodigal son is the one who gets the attention. And the son doesn’t have to do anything, but just be pathetic.
This is such twisted thinking. Just when are those countries and the people who live there persuaded to do something for themselves.

The Pope Francis is calling to each Catholic Parishes in Europe to take care of a refugee family; but he does not said Christian families that are the ones being slaughtered through the Middle East and Africa by Muslims. Then we are going to see the Muslim culprits for murdering Christians receiving refugee and care by Catholics.

There are plenty of Muslims countries that are the one that should take care of the Muslims refugee, some extremely rich as Saud Arabia and the Emirates.
