Here’s what scares me and what makes me not as confident as some of you guys that Trump is the best option to beat the Democrats.

For a guy like Trump, he has to, has to, HAS TO completely energize and motivate conservatives, independents, even some Democrats to go out and vote and vote for him.

But more to the point he has to motivate white people and at least some black people to do that.

And it’s not a racial thing other than this. There was one poll that showed that Donald Trump had a NEGATIVE 51 favorability rating with Hispanics. A NEGATIVE 51 favorability rating with Hispanics.

Look, I’ve never been a Trump guy. If he’s nominated I suppose I’ll end up voting for him. If he puts Cruz on the ticket, I’ll take that compromise.

But when he first announced, I was a guy who said, “No, Trump was absolutely right in what he said and as usual the media and the left is distorting it.” I liked that he was telling the truth. I wasn’t going to vote for him. But I liked that he was telling the truth.

But you can bet your bottom peso that La Raza will be working overtime cranking out those little packets again for the benefit of illegals, showing them where they can go vote without showing any id and providing them with the means to get to the polls.

With Trump, if he’s the candidate, they’ll be even more motivated to cheat than ever before. That’s why as I said, he needs to sustain what he’s done so far and even build on it to get those whites and again probably even a percentage of blacks to get out and vote for him.

Maybe he can. But even with the crowds he’s had and the poll numbers he has, it certainly won’t be an easy thing, imo.

Seems like Trump has the same challenges that Reagan had in communicating that what he is for is what many Dems really are for. Reagan did that becasue he was a great communicator. Once in office, he accomplished it because he was a great negotiator. I see a similarity with Trump, not on all the issues (yet), but in his communication and negotiation abilities, both essential in winning and executing.

A NEGATIVE 51 favorability rating with Hispanics.

Is this anything like a...

... a POSITIVE 49% favorability rating with Hispanics?
