One of Donald Trump's security guards punched a protestor in the face outside of Trump Plaza yesterday-in front of a large crowd of reporters-during a protest coinciding with Trump's official pledge of loyalty to the Republican Party.

Video first published by NY1 Noticias [link at URL] shows the guard, identified by the Daily Caller [link at URL] as Trump's director of Security Keith Schiller grabbing a large blue sign that reads "Trump: Make America Racist Again" from several protestors.

Was the banner being used to impede the right of way onto Trump’s property? If so, then security had every right to remove it.
Looks like the ‘protestor’ was biting the Security guy in the back! Was he on bath salts?
Maybe Trump should instruct his people not to assault protesters and steal their private property.
One of those, you know, little people Trump doesn't care about... /s
First, the banner was on the public sidewalk, at least 10-15 feet from the entrance to the building.
Second, regardless of where it was, Trump’s goon had no right to rip it from the guy’s hands. If they’re impeding access (which they weren’t), then instruct them to move. If they don’t move, then ask the police to move them or arrest them. Don’t assault them and take their property.
If the banner blocks the sidewalk it’s illegal. Oh, wait, that’s just at Planned Parenthood.
The "protester" assaulted the security guy.
I posted a pic... do I need to DRAW you one too?
Birds of a feather.
No one “assaulted” Trump’s security guy until AFTER the guy took a sign from a protester. Grabbing a sign from a protester for no reason does not qualify as ignoring said protester.
You are a very typical Trumpbot. You leap to personal attacks, using incomplete quotes, against ANYONE whom you perceive as criticizing the beloved object of your worship.
Keep in mind, though, it does not take much perusing of a history book to learn that mass blind, fanatical, devotion to an INDIVIDUAL never ends well.
Yeah, you posted a picture. Do you see that big blue thing in the security guy’s hand? That’s the other guy’s sign, which the security guy had stolen from him moments before. In other words, the security guy stole his sign BEFORE the supposed “assault.”
Re: the “assault” - See how the guy is reaching his arm around the security guy’s back, towards the sign in his hand? Looks to me like the guy is trying to take back the sign—again, the sign that the security guard had just stolen from him. How is that assault?
I watched the video. It shows a lot more than one cherry-picked photograph.
Okay. Yes. IF the sign was blocking a sidewalk then it is illegal. But Trump’s private security force are not law enforcement officers.
If someone is blocking the sidewalk, the guy should have call the cops, but kept his damned hands to himself.
What I did tell you you're full of s*** because you are - by feigning concern for Trump when your real concern is that Trump is leading in the polls.
That makes you disingenuous, or possibly a liar.
...was blocking...
Yes. Exactly. You are engaging in personal attacks for no other reason than that I disagree with something Trump or his people did.
Thank you for proving my point.
Those signs were a major copyright infringement of Trump’s logo. Trump’s people had every right to take them down.
First of all, they were clearly parody. Just like all of the parodies of the “O” logo.
But, regardless of the nuances of copyright law, a copyright violation is not a crime, and does not justify ripping the sign out of the guy’s hand. That’s just crazy.
