A strong armed robbery? LOL.
lol! Like I said, most moronic post of the night.
Looked at the whole video and I do not know New York law. I does the sidewalk around the building belong to Trump or is it owned by the city?
The sign was clearly blocking access from the street and the sign was too big for someone to be carrying (a moving protest). If it was stationary on Trump”s property he may have had a right to remove it. I am not a lawyer.
Yup.
..stealing . good lord ..
If the sign is being carried, maybe. That sign was posted to the planters on the sidewalk. I'm seeing litter being removed and then a man being attacked/assaulted from behind who then defends himself.
New York Penal Code
S 160.00 Robbery; defined.
Robbery is forcible stealing. A person forcibly steals property and commits robbery when, in the course of committing a larceny, he uses or threatens the immediate use of physical force upon another person for the purpose of:
1. Preventing or overcoming resistance to the taking of the property or to the retention thereof immediately after the taking; or
2. Compelling the owner of such property or another person to deliver up the property or to engage in other conduct which aids in the commission of the larceny.
S 160.05 Robbery in the third degree.
A person is guilty of robbery in the third degree when he forcibly steals property.
Robbery in the third degree is a class D felony.
Btw, it appears he was possibly going for the mans gun when he was physically grabbed him from behind. It's never a good feeling if your armed and someone comes up behind you like that and grabs you. That's no bueno.
Oh yeah. The fat freak on the end. Can’t wait till thirty million of them are legal. /s
“A Latino man”? Isn’t that racial profiling? If he’s a “Latino man” what the hell is he doing getting involved in AMERICAN politics. Deport his @$$.
No problem dragnet2, sometimes things get a little loopy here.
We seem to be on the same page concerning issues such as this.
Public Sidewalks are the property of the City.
I’ll link you to a place where I addressed this earlier. It’s my best thoughts on it.

Was he taken into custody? He should have been. Reaching for a security official gun around here is the same as reaching for LEO. They are deputies of sheriff. What’s NY law ? Imagine it is the same.
Yep.
Get your facts straight. The sign was being held by the protesters.
Not always. At one time Trump owned all the property under and around the empire State Building His father was known for maintaining the sidewalks around the buildings and houses he built. Building security extends in front of the building. Notice the personnel in front of large hotels when you pull up.
The little I know about NY, many people travel by taxi and private limo services co blocking the area between the street and the door is obstruction as much as blocking the sidewalk from right to left.
Agreed that the better bet would have been to have the police handle it but under Deblasio, who knows?
Lou, the problem I have is that they come here because they were unhappy where they were.
Then they come here, celebrate “there”, and are unhappy here.
Look at that moron. He’s there celebrating the very nation that was so bad, he felt he had to flee.
What a freakin idiot. Wear U.S. attire in celebration of being here. None of them ever do.
Strong armed my butt, just saw it.
Security walked through it into the building with remnants in his hand, gets jumped from behind. Swats the guy off and moves away.
