I had a conversation with a lib about this today. They are a devout pacifist. I told them they should be required to have a AR-15 in their residence with ammo a carry a hand gun at all times when in public and allowed by law.
They told me that goes against their beliefs and they would do it. I told them they would be forced to got to jail until you did. However, they said this case was different.

I am so glad that Senator Cruz is standing strong in defense of religious freedom.

This man is a true conservative, we need him in the White House.

The best part about Ted is that he’s not calling on conservatives, he’s calling on believers. Because he knows that all other distinctions pale in comparison to faith in Jesus Christ. Yes, we need this type of discernment in our lives and in our government.

As usual, Ted Cruz has nailed it. And as usual, Carly Fiorina doesn't get it. You know what would really motivate evangelicals to go vote EN MASSE in 2016? If Christians like this lady are being jailed for their Christian beliefs. We'd win in a landslide. Every cloud has a silver lining.

Such a strong, courageous statement by Ted Cruz worthy of the strong, courageous Kim Davis.

He certainly nailed it tonight on the Megyn Kelly show in his defense of the clerk following her conscience.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majestys hand.
But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.

We can’t go wrong with a principled, pro-God man like Ted Cruz.
I’m proud to have him on my very short list of presidential candidates.
Cruz was TERRIFIC on Mark Levin’s radio show.

This is a little off topic but related - why is everything leading to jail these days? Unpaid parking tickets, jail, etc.
Don't get me wrong, I stand by this woman's right to refuse but why does it lead to jail when she does? Why not being fired? Suspended without pay? I mean she must have a boss or some oversight over her?
Again, I want to say I don't want her being fired or jailed but why do we in the "land of the free" jail people so quickly and deprive them of their freedom?

Cruz should cruise on over to KY where she is, give a speech in McConnell’s backyard and lay it on the line. That said, Trump has apparently said something different than what Cruz is saying...that is disappointing.
Trump truly does need to soften his heart in this regard; we need to pray for his salvation - If Paul got saved, then certainly he can be, too.
Pray hard, and with expectation!

What I’d really like to see are some pastors making the trek to KY to stand with her, including, some black pastors who are all about black lives matter.

The Old First Amendment to the US Constitution as read by me:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
The New First Amendment to the US Constitution as Read by the Courts:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, except Congress may prohibit the free exercise of religion for public officials and business enterprises when their beliefs conflict with official duties or the ordinary course of their commerce, and upon objection made by a public official or business enterprise, proscribe the free exercise of religion with jail and/or fines as a contempt of court, or barring from public office or from engaging in commerce in the United States of America; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
