Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) visited Breitbart News Sunday to discuss why he initiated a motion to vacate the chair aimed to oust Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) as the GOP leader in the House of Representatives.
Meadows filed the request at the end of July to prompt a family conversation within the GOP on the future of the House leadership. Its really more about trying to have a conversation on making this place work, where everybodys voice matters, where theres not a punitive culture, he said before congress broke for recess in August.
In the last 105 years, only once has such a maneuver been attempted. If he is successful in forcing the election of a new speaker it would be the first time in U.S. history.
Earlier in the year, the congressman, who Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon referred to as one of the most courageous men in the House of Representatives and an American hero, was at the center of a House squabble. GOP leadership stripped Meadows of an Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee chairmanship when he voted against the rule that allowed for consideration of President Obamas request for fast-track authority (TPA) to negotiate the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP). Meadows regained his post as chairman after fellow conservatives expressed outrage, but ill feelings remain.
Meadows told Bannon, who hosts Breitbart News Sunday airing on Sirius XM Patriot radio, channel 125, at 7 pm ET, We need a change in Washington D.C., regardless of party. Most Americans know that the way business is being done is broken and we have got to change that. And I appreciate Breitbart for addressing the topic.

So.. this mook doesn't know the difference between "is" and "are"?
I’d say Boehner is the mook.
It's all rigged. They're probably in a back room somewhere figuring out who can vote to save Boehner and still be re-elected. Unless they as a group find a way to take the Speakership away from Boehner, they're complicit.
JMHO
We have learned a lot over the last years.
Here are two of the most important lessons:
1 - An airheaded, America hating, illegal alien, muslim sympathizing, homosexual, racist, socialist does not make a good president.
2 - A blubbering drunk does not make a good majority leader in the House of Representatives.
You’re the blog police AND the grahmer poLice!
I’m not the one butchering the language.
No police credentials are required to point out errors.
Those are indeed the two givens.
oh the days when there were many thoughtful responses on FR. Now one needs to constantly wade through muck such as yours to engage. Go get some air.
Two lines of text impedes you?
Damn. You're probably too weak for any of this.
Having the people at My Back is Better than having D.C. in My Pocket
The composer of this thread’s headline is the culprit.
Click on his name—I find that surprising seeing as how he’s still posting.

I have emails concerning Boehner's crying. I am trying to find a source to verify those. It is said that Boehner has been coached. He has been given "acting lessons" as it were. His "crying" is as phoney as everything else he does. |

Is there any one running against Boner?
Yes, JD Winteregg. Funny name, but we all should campaign for and fund him vigorously.
Here’s his site:
Roger That!
As if in the scheme of things this twaddlizing is of any consequence.
As I see it, here's one brave SOB who is putting his Congressional Office on the line and we're looking at his grammar? We all need to stand behind him!
This man is my Congressman and I love him. The people in this District have his back because not only is he smart and principled, but he stands up to the toadies in Washington. It is time to send him another donation.
Ditto.
