Et Tu Bret Bair? Most of us had been under the impression that he had journalistic ethics. Baier was considered one of the few at Fox who could actually pull off straight news. However we now discover that he had a pre-planned strategy, with an actual script, aimed at physically ejecting Trump from the debate. This proves that the Fox back room had it in for Trump before the debate dust-up where Megyn Kelly tried and painfully failed - to make a name for herself by using her role as moderator to portray Trump as a misogynist.
The Baier story comes on the heels of the Breitbart report that Ailes wants to "save the country" from Trump. Yes, the chief of the fair and balanced news organization declares he wants to pick off the most popular grass roots GOP candidate to emerge in years.
Frank Luntz, who pretends to be an agnostic pollster, goes on a "f--- you" tirade against Trump. Incidentally, Trump had turned down a business solicitation from Luntz.
Then there was the day last week when nearly every single Fox host in lockstep admonished Trump using airtime to engage in various leave poor Kelly alone rants. The list of those who were inspired ad/or encouraged to make their opinions known includes but is not limited to Sean Hannity, Bill Hemmer, Jedediah Bila, Brian Kilmeade, Bill O'Reilly, Shep Smith and Bret Baier. Nearly every known personality on Fox participated in the obvious choreography. It seems that Roger Ailes "rising star" (his words) isn't really a big girl (her words) after all.
Other blatant Trump assassins include George Will, Charles Krauthammer and Bush imp Dana Perino. Fox CEO announced that would like to see Michael Bloomberg as president.
Obviously, the question in the title is rhetorical, but Im not pretending to be fair and balanced. Fox news is.
For we cable cutters I think OANN is 4.99/month. They also have a twitter feed:
Never actually signed up for the streaming, keep meaning to.
Some millionaire FReeper should kick in free monthly OANN memberships for every $25 donated or something :)
We should probably help grow this new network even though we’re way ahead of it.
Yeah! Connect the dots.. Is it OktoberFest yet?
Fox should make their hosts wear dirndl and leiderhosen
Talk about UnderaRmor. Trump fortified. ;-)
Me too. Graham Ledger’s hour is informative and entertaining. And allow me to admit their female newsreaders are gorgeous.
There is life after Pox News.
Whether they realize it or not, they finally fed into the opposition’s mantra that they were not a ‘real’ news outlet. Their blatant, obvious, overt attempts to sink Trump lost them credibility. They, with their debate moderators, became the story. That is something ‘real’ journalists are supposed to avoid.
I now usually watch CNN for the morning news. They are goshawful. I didn’t realize how slanted they are until the shooting of the VA reporter and cameraman. They have now been pushing their anti-gun agendy every day since.
It is too bad that, with 500 cable channels, we do not have a ‘real’ news channel.
Fox Business has not. Varney is the deal. So is Payne.
It's embarrassing to watch.
In the olden days, women only needed to be sexy for their loving husbands.
OAN is not on cable yet.
I have checked their website, but it only seems to have videos, not live streaming news.
I watch Fox Business often. Fox News not so much anymore.

Ratings: Megyn Kelly Tops All of Cable News in August”
Don’t care. Walter Cronkite was once “the most trusted man in America” too.
The Media is psychological warfare used by the elites to control the masses. I refuse to be influenced by it.

ATT Uverse has it.
I think they are all getting ticked off because Trump won’t play their games and he can’t be bought.
One America News Network is where it is at now. The heck with the two-timers at Fox Snooze.
Roger, baby, I had rather be saved from the Commie Rats, the GOPe, their rich oligarch donors and the political class that that seems to have taken up permanent residence in DC.
If or when they must, they slide it out of their mouths as though it was a foreign word.
The leaders at the RNC despise Cruz so much, they've given out the word, avoid giving any news regarding him, where he is speaking, even where he stands in the polls. Since they don't consider Cruz as uncouth or offensive as Trump but they fear their viewers especially those who like Trump, from hearing anything Cruz says.
They always give signals whom they are rooting for even when pretending to be honest brokers - they are anything but!
Your pretty much correct. FNC has reached their Jump The Shark moment. Et Tu Bret.
