(CNN)Donald Trump often vows he'll win the Hispanic vote if he becomes the Republican candidate for president next year.
If so, he might have some work to do.
A new Washington Post/ABC News poll released Wednesday finds that the real estate magnate is viewed unfavorably by 82% of Hispanics, with 68% feeling "strongly so." Just 15% of those surveyed view Trump favorably.

Oh, well I suppose we should stop supporting Donald Trump then and make ourselves comfortable with being invaded by drug peddlers and rapists and murderous scum.
pathetic?
So, how does that compare to Republicans in general?
Trump does need to make the case that illegal immigration hurts hispanic americans directly.
Hispanics do not want to see themselves or other hispanics disrespected, but you can and must make the case that an open border drives wages down and makes it just that much harder for legal Americans, including hispanics, to find work. Many of them know that, and Trump is going to have more support among hispanics than anyone expects.
The Democrats also know that, which is why they have to make the case that Trump is racist. We just have to reach past that and invite hispanics to support us. This isn’t just about Trump, if Cruz is our man its the same. They will try to make the irrational case that Cruz isn’t a real hispanic because he supports rule of law on the border. We have to make our case and invite hispanics to join us. A good solid 20% will; if we can make it 30% we win this election walking away.
Yes indeedy!
who cares
Did they Poll Hispanics attending a Cock Fight?
Apparently that's not always the case.
Nevertheless, 40 percent intend to vote for him. Remember the parody of Spanish-language TV on SNL, called Qui es mas macho?
We don’t need WaPo to explain the obvious....LOL
The NYT turned on her completely last week.
A poll of 1000 adults would only have like 100 or so Hispanics, so the Margin of Error must be fantastic.
-Unless I misunderstood the methodology.
These aren’t registered or likely voters either.
Seems pretty useless info.
Around here we call that a double standard.
I don't trust any poll. Clearly that is not the case with the Trump crowd.
Then 82% of Hispanics oppose the rule of law.
82% of Hispanics support law-breaking.
82% of Hispanics support criminals.
I don't trust them, either. But some do.
You seemed to have no problem with the "left's polls" when you commented here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3332232/posts
And it's not nearly as "grand" as it is watching FReepers champion a lifelong leftist as you are doing.
Watch those Trumped up accusations
Here’s that post. It didn’t address the poll at all.
It lampooned Ms Cankles.

South40, Trump is selling Conservatism today on the campaign trail to a nation that hasn’t heard it heralded like that by a national figure since Reagan in 1984.
It’s indeed unfortunate how angry you are over it.
What's obvious to you and to everyone else on this thread is that this poll's breathless conclusion is propaganda. The Washington Post poll they linked to for this story shows pretty pointless methodology. If the pollsters were really interested in how Trump would fare in an election, then they'd poll only those eligible to vote. The screening process shows no such vetting. The WP/ABC's pollsters' agenda here is obvious.
Well, on the other hand, I have a pretty dim view of most hispanics and all illegals.
Illegal aliens or registered Hispanic voters? Big differencia. :-)
I guess they came out of the shadows to vote.
