Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) has given President Obama the final vote necessary to secure victory for his controversial nuclear agreement with Iran. From the AP:
Senate Democrats have rallied the 34 votes they need to keep the Iran nuclear deal alive in Congress, handing President Barack Obama a major foreign policy victory.
Sen. Barbara Mikulski of Maryland became the crucial 34th vote Wednesday morning, declaring the agreement is the best way to curb Iran's nuclear ambitions.
The Obama administration may have had a touch of nervousness in the past few weeks, as a couple of notable Senate Democrats brutally rejected the deal and others were still on the fence. They have also faced continual pressure from Republicans, who plan to vote on a disapproval resolution. Now, however, with 34 votes safely in his pocket, Obama has everything he needs to veto it.
Let us all remember that the democrats all came together and voted for this Iran deal. When the problems arise, blame the democrats. They bought it!

Once it passed cloture, Cruz knew it was going to happen and wanted to drag it out as long as possible.

The question is, would they care given that Russia, Europe and probably China won’t impose sanctions again?
An unlikely scenario but would be fun to imagine:
vote the deal down with simple majority
then send 3 dems to Iran to assure the iranians they are
still on the islamist side
then have some special ops from a foreign nation that does NOT approve, say the Saudis, hold them for questioning until after the veto override is scheduled by the senate
then overturn the veto with three of the wack jobs languishing somewhere in Pakistan
97 senators is more than enough for a quorum call.
the good guys will call the tune... overturn the veto and then call the Pakis to LET OUR PEOPLE GO!

All Senators except Cotton voted for the Corker bill 99-1. (Senator Cotton being the lone sane vote)
They made the Iran deal unstoppable.
They did a similar manipulation with TPA and Obamatrade.
Corker bill makes the Iran deal unstoppable (34 out of a 100 votes) . so they all voted for it but then they will say they are against it.And only some of us know what they really did
