Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is escalating his all-out campaign against GOP front-runner Donald Trump with a new ad campaign and quiz on social media designed to highlight Bush’s conservative credentials in contrast with the businessman’s past embrace of the Democratic Party.

In a strikingly personal attack, the quiz asks voters whether they would prefer a candidate who “is a germophobe when it comes to shaking hands,” a reference to Trump’s documented phobia, Bush, meanwhile is cast as a candidate who “strives to shake every hand everywhere.”

I must admit, it is probably nasty to be shaking a bunch of strangers’ hands. When you think of it, it is a nasty practice! People touch all sorts of things. Their palms are sweaty (gross). Who knows if they even bothered to wash their hands after lavatory use.
Trump’s aversion to shaking hands is a non-issue, and may even earn more support from me.
Going after Trump on his past dem-lib-prog stances on issues is a perfectly legitimate tactic - for someone OTHER than Jeb Bush.

The dirty little secret of campaigning is that candidates frequently wash themselves with anti bacterial soaps after shaking hands with people. Bush, and all candidates act not much different than germaphobes.

Actually, it's an issue in his favor. The "hand-bump" gained in popularity to avoid shaking sweaty hands. It's now a part of hygienic practice to advocate not shaking hands.

There is a tale from Greek mythology of a giant that Hercules encountered, Antaeus. Antaeus was a son of the earth goddess Gaia, and so long as he was in contact with the earth, his strength was endless and sufficient to match any opponent. And each time an attempt was made to seize Antaeus and lift him from the surface of the earth, to dash him back to the ground, his strength was multiplied tenfold, making Antaeus a vastly more formidable opponent.
Hercules was advised (by Athene) to not merely to raise Antaeus into the air, away from contact with the earth, but specifically NOT to let him touch the surface. Once not in contact with soil, Antaeus’ superior strength swiftly drained away, and Hercules was able to slay the giant by crushing his ribs, and once dead, laying the corpse upon a bier above the ground.
The Donald has hoisted the major RINO opponents away from the contact with earth that supplied all their strength, and is holding them in the air as their powers ebb away.
