A longtime confidante of Hillary Clinton dismissed House Speaker John Boehner as "louche, alcoholic, and lazy" in an email to Clinton's personal account that was released by the State Department late Monday.
The email sent by Sidney Blumenthal on Election Day 2010 was one of many missives sent from Blumenthal to Clinton during her tenure as secretary of state that touched on domestic politics and foreign policy.
Blumenthal's email, with the subject line "election day memo on post-midterms," was sent on the afternoon of Nov. 2, 2010, the day the GOP took control of the House of Representatives in the midterm elections. Blumenthal, who had described the Republicans in an August email as being "captive to the swamp fevers of the extreme right", said that Boehner, then the House Minority Leader, was "despised by the younger, more conservative members of the House Republican Conference. They are repelled by his personal behavior."

Sid, tell us something we don’t already know.
and prone crying jags...... lulz
Sid is flirting with a libel suit by Boehner. Oh wait - that’s right, truth is an absolute defense.
Yet the cop who says let’s agree that all lives matter is racist.
add to that and push back from the bar after one.
I posted on another thread that our friend played golf with Boehner and said he was buzzed by 10 a.m.
Yes, but we are looking for lies, not facts!
A Freeper on this board refers to Boehner a “ the weeping cheeto”. Seems about right
“louche, alcoholic, and lazy” - in other words, just like his buddy HRC.
It does, and I don't know all much about his drinking habits. Churchill was a functional alcoholic, I've read he started the day with sauterne. After brushing his teeth. Not suggesting McConnel is a Churchill, but I wouldn't trade McConnell for a Pelosi or a Reid or an Obama. Given the fact that even the Obama administration refused to employ Sid, I'll ignore him.
And then there's Hillary, I won't post pics of her partying, too many.
Our problem, of course, is that McConnell is a badly flawed clueless “leader” afraid of his media critics - much less any democrat critic of the right actions. He personally “might” be less flawed than a Churchill, Grant or Hoover or Cleveland ...
But he is up against professionals. And is losing every statement, every campaign, every issue. Evil, encrypted, immoral professionals. But professionals nonetheless.
Correct me if I'm mistaken, but those are louches. Not a louche
Yes, a professional politician. And I’ve no doubt he has values, perhaps staunch conservative values, but doesn’t fight for them. Which is a real problem when he’s at the GOP’s point of the spear.
