Dr. Ben Carson's amazing response to a question asked by a 10-year old boy!
Dr. Benjamin Carson, Sr., M.D., had a childhood dream of becoming a physician. Growing up in a single parent home and being challenged by dire poverty, poor grades, a horrible temper, and low self-esteem appeared to preclude the realization of that dream, until his mother, with only a third-grade education, challenged her sons to strive for excellence. At age 33, he became the youngest major division director in Johns Hopkins history, as director of pediatric neurosurgery. Dr. Carson became famous for his ground-breaking work separating conjoined twins.Dr. Carson is a #1 New York Times bestselling author. Carson 2016!

I have great respect for Dr. Carson also. I also have great respect for a number of other persons. There are some persons such as Obama and his cabal for whom I have no respect. My highest respect is for those persons ,men and women, who are willing to put their lives on the line for the US, there are many of these.Such being said I will take my time as to making a final choice for POTUSA and VP. These choices will be very much influenced as to how the persons hold to the Constitution not some flim-flam to cover what is happening today..
Very well said.
I like this guy very much and will vote for him if he manages to get on the ticket.
Thanks, Dr Carson has an amazing story. Loved the video.

Me, too.
Many years ago- maybe the 70’s-I read a story about him in the Reader’s Digest. I still remember how much I enjoyed reading it. He had quite a life growing up.
Excellent answer.
Thanks for posting this. I am a Cruz supporter, but if that does not work out, I definitely can and will support Dr. Carson. And if it’s Trump vs Hildabeast, or the socialist, or the Redskin, or the crazy uncle Joe, I will support the Donald.
What an absolutely wonderful answer!
Ben Carson is a truly good man; and he deserves a cabinet position on a future administration.
But Leadership.
Leading a team of trained people (fellow doctors and nurses) with one goal in mind (saving the patient) is different from attempting to lead a Government:
A Government that contains: people with agendas, incompetent people in high places, corrupt people, lazy people, outright traitors to the cause, perverts of all sorts, people pressured by outside money, etc.
Ben Carson is a good man.
But I don’t think he has the cruel edge that is necessary for the post.
I’ve actually been watching several of Dr.Carson’s videos on you tube from his numerous speeches. He doesn’t talk as slow when he is campaigning and what really surprised me is that he has more ideas similar to Donald’s than any of the other candidates. In one speech,he advocates exactly what Scott Walker said - securing the northern border and the east and west coasts too. I wonder if Scott picked up on this from Dr. Carson? Anyway, he also goes off on PC and the media. I’m staring to like him more and more. I know he has his warts, but they all do.
Sean Hannity has talked about HSAs for years. So, I think if Trump got the idea from anyone it was probably Sean.
i know for some reason GOP loves/attracts medical doctors for candidates. but give them power and they generally turn into the worst kind of “leaders.” there’s just some great weakness in the makeup of a “healer” who wants to get power. i’ve got many examples, but no real theory.
for example, he’s apparently got a real problem with the basic, God-given right of self-defense. unless he demonstrates a complete turnaround, and complete understanding of that issue from now on out, it’s a no go for me.

Same for me. Could not have said it better.
This will be the first time my daughter can vote, and she’s registering as a Republican. I put no pressure on her either way and said “do you know who you’re voting for yet?” She said “Of course, Ben Carson in the primary and the Republican in the General”. I really like Ben Carson but I am undecided, but her answer at least told me she was paying attention. She had a list of reasons why she chose him. She tells me of her friends, any of them that are paying attention will not vote for Hillary, those that have no idea say they will, but she knows they’ll never bother voting.
