there are some storms a-brewin'.
And, Although none of them have made landfall, they're making part of the Pacific Ocean near Hawaii resemble a Van Gogh painting.
three hurricanesNOAA
Here's a photo showing hurricanes Kilo, Ignacio, and Jimena from left to right. This is the first time three Category 4 storms have been seen in central and eastern Pacific Ocean at one time, according to The Weather Channel. Category 4 hurricanes have wind speeds anywhere from 130-156 miles per hour.
Hurricanes are categorized primarily by wind speeds. the higher the sustained wind speed, the stronger the hurricane. A category 1 hurricane has winds up to 74-95 mph, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) says they are typically expected to cause some damage to buildings as well as power outages for a few days. A category 4 hurricane is considered catastrophic, with severe damage to buildings and power outages for weeks if not months.

Right, exactly. Until the mid-1940's we knew very little scientifically about hurricane prediction.
Now the airwaves are filled with the "first" and "worst" linked to almost all weather events. Crap, we are even naming blizzards to make them seem like they are something new.
The entertainment industry masquerading as "news" thrives on finding misery and the weather channel loves to interview a local with a torn t-shirt saing "I never saw nuthin' like this before and I lived here for 20 years".

Hawaii sure is in the middle of nowhere, isnt it? Hard to believe Captain Cook managed to stumble upon it back in 1778! I'm still trying to figure out how the Hawaiians found it. They weren't just blown there by accident -- they brought along livestock with them.

It looks to me more like a mentally challenged sea owl with gray eyebrows smiling, like it’s about to get cookies. Could it be that mentally challenged sea owls will soon rise and take over the world? I’m serious. Or owls with tourette’s, you ****.

Everything labeled by the “media” as being “historic” since November 2008 has been nothing but trouble and bad news for America. And I mean EVERYTHING!
