Hawaii sure is in the middle of nowhere, isn’t it? Hard to believe Captain Cook managed to stumble upon it back in 1778! I'm still trying to figure out how the Hawaiians found it. They weren't just blown there by accident -- they brought along livestock with them.

If you were goig to travel a long distance with no refrigeration taking livestock along is the only way to keep your meat fresh.
