When a police officer in Dayton, Ohio, handed John Felton a warning for a traffic signal violation, Felton asked whether was stopped for something besides having out-of-state plates, according to a video of the conversation posted on Facebook.
Because you made direct eye contact with me and held onto it when I was passing you, the officer replied in the video.
...
Felton grew up in Ohio but now lives in Michigan. His car has a Michigan license plate.
He told WKEF the officer followed his car about two miles and originally said hed committed a minor traffic offense not signaling more than 100 feet before making a turn.
...
Felton let the officer know he was recording the conversation and complained about being followed.
...
In the video Felton recorded, the officer gives Felton a warning. Felton then asks why he was stopped in the first place.
Im not doing nothing, because I have a Michigan plate, other than that why are you trailing me? Felton said on the recording.
You made direct eye contact with me and held onto it when I was passing you, the officer said.
What! I didnt even see you, Felton said.
I am not going to argue about it anymore with you, sir, the officer said. Ill just scan your license and give you a citation for the violation and you could take it to court.
OK, sir, Felton says. He and the officer then drove away

DO NOT MEET THEIR GAZE, look downward subserviently.
So take it to the judge.
Of course it is a black man saying this...
There are some real assh*le police out there
I thought that those were the instructions in case you ever meet Hillary
But there’s a good guy somewhere, you count on it.
They will bend the knee...
.
The article doesn’t say whether the police officer was black or not.
The video record of what him saying it might give an indication.
Most traffic courts are Kangaroo Courts but if you have a lawyer and are willing to appeal, you will eventually get justice. Well most of the time you will eventually get it.
Both Hillary and Barbara Streisand gave strict orders to all new, lower-level staffers that they were not to LOOK at them.
I’m serious.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is known for azzholes.
They must train them to be that way. Only answer I can come up with.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
"DON'T YOU EYEBALL ME, BOY!!!"
“Ju-udge! He’s lookin’ at me!”
“I can look at you if I want to.”
“Shut up or I’ll find both of you for contempt of court...”
He’s white, you can see it near the end of the video.
And never cast your shadow on them.
I’m inclined to agree. If a cop gives you a traffic stop, my experience is that you should treat them with the utmost respect. Sometimes they’ll just give you a warning and let you go. Or write a ticket on a lesser charge. Arguing with cops is absolutely pointless.
And if you look away you’re behaving suspiciously.
I was once given a ticket in Virginia on Interstate 40 for doing 68. This was back when they reduced the speed to 55 for several years.
Well I was doing exactly what he said but I was also going right with the flow of traffic. If anything maybe a tad slower than most. If I had slowed down any more I would have held traffic up.
As soon as the N.C. Trooper saw my Virginia tag he made up his mind to rob me. I say rob me because he picked me out for no other reason than I had a Virginia tag.
He was courteous and we had no problem but it still gets my goat.
