I see that golf course whenever I drive over the Whitestone Bridge. Used to be a dump. Trump did a great job turning that spot into a jewel that New Yorkers can be proud of.
The art of the deal - Oreos and cars made in Mexico or China, and that is BAD!

There’s alot of backstory to that property. It was a landfill in the 70’s.
It’s not like Bloomberg handed Trump the keys to a working golf course.
When out of state Golfers were paying $90 to play Torrey, I, as a resident of San Diego with free park and recreations card payed $18. This was in the 80’s. I hear it’s like $48/$250 now.
