Though this is a vanity, I have linked to the foundational source of my point.
I REALLY like what the Trump is saying. I like his attitude, I lake his effectively destroying PC and his takedown of the MSM. I like seeing all the liberal and GOPe heads exploding. I especially like him running a screen for Cruz.
But I would be very concerned about a Trump presidency. If you look at his stances in the past and some that are current and couple that with is personality, attitude and MO, and imagine him as the "strong man" in the article in the link, you will see where I am coming from.
Its not a hit piece. It is not about trump.
You think anyone buys this cuban leaf?
No. It is a small part of what I have. It is a corner of the total picture.
BS.... You have nothing. Zip... No sale.
I think I have read most if not all Trump hit pieces here on FR along with multiple vanities concerned with my soul if I don’t reconsider supporting Trump. Oh, and lots of insults about my intelligence from Trump haters/Cruz supporters.
I have NOT read yet any article interviewing or quoting any of Trump’s employees or competitors saying that he is untrustworthy, dishonest or a quittor. For a man that has been in the public eye for 30 years I find that very telling.
If he’s serious about running America like a business (and he knows a thing or two about that) then he’s going to gravitate conservative. Progressive policies please small interest groups but they also sap America as a whole. It’s the nature of the beast and it’s already showing.
The thing is, the Constitution in great part is already dead. All the people in Washington haven’t done yet is officially bury it. That comes next on their agenda. So, with Trump, at best he would resuscitate our founding document; at worst, he would manage its burial better than the others. Hillary would be a dictator, have no doubt about it. Sanders would turn us into Western European socialism. Bush would bring us the collapse of our southern and northern borders and union with Canada and Mexico. His brother George paved the way for the North American Union, and Jeb wants to complete it. Same with Rubio.
So, under these circumstances, I have to take my chance with Trump. At least, if nothing else, he wants to maintain our sovereignty.
Its later than you think.
Trump’s campaign manager and political adviser is Corey Lewandowski, a rock solid conservative. His influence is visible in many of Trump’s speeches, statements and decisions. I’ve no doubt that Trump is learning rapidly, and means everything he says.
All three Bushes, Romney and McCain are all one of them.
You have the balls to make these types of comments after putting "Trump" in the title of your hit piece?
Gezzz...
I think we do know. Quite clearly it's what is best for Trump, primarily as it affects his making money.
Why don’t you just say what he said or link to a text based source.
Hankering for the politician of the 1950’s may be a vain quest at this point. Obama has broken so many rules with impunity that the resulting temptations have engulfed most present politicians.
Trump would very possibly leave room for “redneck America” to have an influence.
Wise business management is like that. It undertakes to understand what is needed for the business to survive and prosper, even if it isn’t what personally tickles the management.
Regardless who patriots elect as president in 2016, remember that the incumbent presdent got into the Oval Office by reading teleprompters.
My POV at this point is they’re all the same, except Trump.
I’ve heard the promises, even shook hand with on (Joe Heck) who assured me he was going to go to DC and rattle the cage....I believed him even though he was not in my district would have supported him.
Point is, I’d be more than willing to roll the dice on Trump IF it comes to that. Otherwise I am still leaning toward Cruz even though he would probably disappoint too.
Even that would be better than most politicians, who live up in their taxpayer funded ivory towers and have nothing but fad to guide their efforts. If Trump sincerely wants his businesses to be the archetype of what succeeds in future America, he is going to find that conservative policy makes more sense than progressive policy.
Trumps temperament is no worse than LBJ’s or Bill Clinton’s.
Trump the rassler at least puts some masculine gonads into the effort, so to speak. Not perfect, has wild hairs, but as someone else pointed out it’s later than we think.
[Progressive policies please small interest groups but they also sap America as a whole. Its the nature of the beast and its already showing.]
It’s why the Constitution talks about promoting the general welfare and not the specific welfare of one group over another.
