Trump made the comments on the Laura Ingraham show, according to a Daily Caller report:
Laura Ingraham: Yesterday, Planned Parenthood was exposed again in an eighth video released by the Center for Medical Progress. Do you still believe there are two Planned Parenthoods or is it time to defund this organization?
Donald Trump: Well, you should defund anyway because they are doing the abortions. It is like an abortion factory, which is terrible. So you should defund anyway. But those videos are horrible. Every time you see them, they get worse and worse. And it’s not only that, the messengers are so bad. There always, I mean these people, what they say and the way they, it’s like you are selling parts to an automobile or something. It’s a terrible situation going on with Planned Parenthood. There’s no question about it.
This is the second time in recent weeks that Trump has called Planned Parenthood an abortion factory.
In an interview with CNN two weeks ago, Trump called the abortion giant an “abortion factory” and said government shouldn’t be funding it.
“The problem that I have with Planned Parenthood is the abortion situation. It is like an abortion factory, frankly,” Trump said. “And you can’t have it. And you just shouldn’t be funding it. That should not be funded by the government, and I feel strongly about that.”
When asked about the smaller non-abortion component of what Planned Parenthood does, Trump appeared to be alright with taxpayer funding.
“What I would do when the time came, I’d look at the individual things they do, and maybe some of the individual things they do are good. I know a lot of the things are bad. But certainly the abortion aspect of it should not be funded by government, absolutely,” he said.
A couple of days ago, a woman called Rush and complained about Trump and his lack of specifics, as she maintained. So Rush asked her about the specifics of Cruz, for example, since she said she was for Cruz. She couldn’t give any specifics set forth by Cruz. Rush could not get her to see that she had a double standard. I think that sometimes people use that in hopes of spurring Trump to get lost in the weeds when he speaks to supporters.
“You’re not getting specifics this early, sport. You’re not getting them from any other candidate either if you have been alert enough to notice. Name Rubio’s plan, Jeb’s plan, Cruz’ plan and fill me in on your specifics.”
-—Exactly! It would be silly at this point to give all the details so opponents can use them against you for the next few months. At this stage of the game it’s getting attention, building the brand, and building the base. Once that’s done then you can trickle out policy specifics.

Doncha just love the leftist tactics who demand specifics from Trump, but never mention nor demand them from the other candidates? I suspect these people are newbies to the political process. You don’t lay out your plans this early in a campaign. To do so, gives the opposition too much ammunition. I wish people would stop with this - he doesn’t give specifics nonsense.

These remarks and the snark that follows them is coming from those who are not following Trump, or are not able to follow him for working, or whatever.
Trump will be lowering your taxes. He will be raising the taxes of the uber rich, which is just fine with me, because it is just fine with the uber rich also. For instance, if Sally Secretary must pay 26% on her secretary salary but her boss is Warren Buffet, the billionaire, is it okay with you that he has to pay only 14%?????
THAT is what Trump is saying.
We have not a dime that is our own now, anyway. Every dime of your change is borrowed from China, already. Trump knows of what he speaks. That is who knows.

Well, of course. I’m afraid, it’s a question of either a trouble maker or a simpleton, plain and simple.
Disclaimer - I have been very reticent to support Trump. I’m not sure if he believes what he says. But I’m open to being convinced.
With that out of the way, I REALLY liked the way he handled the Iran deal in this talk.He did something I long for political people to do- he educated and informed the folks he spoke to. He did it like he was chatting over lunch. “Can you believe we gave them a nuclear scientist and we don’t get our hostages back”?...the way he dropped the staggering info about the $ billions we’re giving them..and the self-inspections etc. would be very compelling to people who are likely unaware of what John Kerry, veteran of Viet Nam and bicyclist extraordinaire has been up to.
This is the first time I didn’t cringe or flinch while listening to him.

Thank you; I had read the second portion, but not the first [after the 8th video release]. The only problem is Trump is for choice in the cases of incest and rape, so he can’t come out swinging on this full force. He’s not “really” pro-life. And that’s a problem, for pro-lifers anyway. Abortion is not something you can “sorta” be against, most of the time.
