Thanks for the links. (finished) HOORAY Trump
You’re welcome. Trump on a roll. .
Other one liners: "People won't get over my wall, and they won't get under it either with X-Ray equipment."
"Wouldn't it be great to have a President that's really good at construction?" Loved that one.
"We have a chance to be truly great again."
"We have to build up the Military stronger than ever before so we don't have to use it."
"A woman came up to me and said 'Mr. Trump I loved your speech but I don't know if you're nice enough to be President'. . and I said, I think I'm a nice person, I really think this is an election that's not based on niceness, but competence and smartness and toughness because we're tired of the nice, we don't need the nice, we need the Competence. We're going to have such a competent brilliant Presidency." Paging Ayn Rand. You gotta' love it.
"If I am President you're going to be so proud of our country."
"I want to make America great again, maybe better than ever before."
I've never heard anyone talk like this, even Reagan. . Very engaging. . You just want to keep listening. I've said for decades, "Wouldn't it be great if Washington D.C. was run like a private business?" Well folks, Trump may be the answer.
Trump got a long ovation after he said, "All I care about is the country." This was after he said he refused a $5 million donation from a lobbyist.
Check out article, then # 35 , # 43 .
Thanks, Art.
I KNOW I’M GOING TO WIN!
Is the influence of Norman Vincent Peale.and the Power of Positive Thinking
You’re welcome LucyT. Hate to get too excited about a politician. . no wait, he’s not a politician!
Yes, right out of the book. Just think, a well read learned man. . . not since Reagan.
Amen. I had the same thought yesterday. Would be a great line to use.
Thanks for the great summary, Art in Idaho. HOORAY Trump
What I notice is, I listen whenever he is on TV. He is unique in that respect.
I have never listened to zero or hill for that matter.
Peale was the pastor of his church when he grew up. He learned at his feet
Yep. And as much as I like Cruz, I'm not compelled to pay attention when he's on TV. But as you noted, with Trump it's different.
I disagree with a wall, but am willing to go along with it as a compromise. The problem here is Mexico. If mexico had a halfway honest government and treated its people halfway decently, illegal immigration wouldn’t be a problem. But instead they are incredibly corrupt and evil to their core and a wall isn’t going to fix that.
The fix I propose is doing what we’ve done best in the past: annexing new territories and building a better country. The people of mexico deserve better. They aren’t going to get it absent a revolution or a takeover and do we really want a hot revolution on our southern border?
So give the people in the northern states of mexico a choice: the status quo, or a path to eventual annexation as a US territory (subject to meeting certain milestones which we will help with). If they choose the way I believe they will, it gives our country new territory and it gives an otherwise good people a chance towards a future.
Interesting! Better than learning at the feet of The Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

Peale is infinitely more edifying than the “God Damn America” chump...
Annexing Mexico.... I don’t think so.
Prefer to force them to be honest.
That's for sure. What a contrast. Just thing about it. . Trump. . then think of Obama. .
America is READY for TRUMP!
One story said that all the way through military school (age 13-18) and college he came home every weekend to help his dad at work and go to church with family on Sunday. Good kid
