The mexican government post revolution has never been worth a crap and never will. They’re the kleptocrats our politicians dream of being. You can’t fix stupid or evil.
Given the choice, do you think the people of the northern part of mexico would choose mexico or US? I’m not suggesting it be without conditions. E.g. establishing US style civil liberties, learning English, etc.
