As his poll numbers steadily keep him in a comfortable first place in the crowded GOP field, and he packs stadiumsreceiving raucous applause in Alabama and along the Mexican borderhis fiery and divisive rhetoric has taken on a new meaning. His positions have now become the focal point of the GOP field and all candidates must respond to Trump before they can proceed.
What he and his supporters say can no longer be considered a joke. During his rally in Mobile, Alabama screams of white power could be heard from the audience. And last week, two white ex-cons from Boston beat up a homeless Hispanic man, and upon their arrest they told the police, Donald Trump was right, all these illegals need to be deported.

Every articulated policy position produces people who will benefit, and people who will lose from that policy position. The latter group is likely to be stronger in its opposition, than the former will be in support.
Trump has decided on one policy area, illegal immigration, and defined a position that he thinks will get a lot of people in support, and relatively few people in opposition, and those people were unlikely to vote Republican anyway.
I think he's going to stick with that, and push the fact that he's not in the pockets of the Establishment.
Agree. Trump is basing his entire campaign on securing the border. He’s vowed to do it. The idea that he could win on this promise, then get in the Oval Office and pretend it was all a joke, he never meant it to be taken seriously, etc., goes way beyond Kool Aid. It’s an alternate realty
Trump is not running so that, if he wins, he’ll go down in history as the most duplicitous, hated POTUS of all time. He’s running to win...and to keep on winning once in office.
And the only way to do the latter is to build the wall.
In no way, shape or form did I advocate that Trump would become pro-amnesty. But if you think about (and I know I’m asking a lot of you - BTW, since you can be condescending, so can I) given his many policy shifts on just about anything, it’s not out of the question that he may change his mind on this issue.
I’m going on past precedent here and not an intellectually superior feeling that I have.
“Because the GOPee would never lead us on and dump us...”
Excellent point. They have. And I have no respect for those who talked a good game but won’t do anything about it.
I’m just not convinced that a number of speeches by Trumpet proves that he’s the guy to follow on this issue.
Wouldn’t that made up word show up on Google no matter where you posted it? I ask because if your paranoia is right that is something we better know for sure.
None of the other candidates—with the likely exception of Santorum—grasp the urgency and magnitude of the problem. Trump does, and is basing his run on fixing it.
If you don’t trust Trump to fix it, who do you trust? Please quote that candidate’s most eloquent summation of the life and death issue the country faces due to the unlimited flow of foreign invaders across our wide open borders.
They tried straight out to mock him. Now they have to pay fake KKK guys to instigate a race war at his rallies. If they successfully instigate a race war they could knock him out, so I hope the Reump team is ready for that line of attack.
To the oligarchy, Trump must not be allowed to win the nom.
On a mainstream radio show today, someone (bill Handel) said that it is impossible for trump to win the nomination because 75% of Hispanics have a negative opinion of him.
It's a tried and true smear tactic that is near and dear to both the DNC and the GOPe.
Americans are smarter than that. Shame on the DNC and the GOPe surrender monkeys.
“This one place, this one thing happened, and it was because of these 2 bad white guys!” See! Everything everyone who is conservative says is wrong!
So goes the idiot, adolescent mentality of the left.
That might be true, but I have no other way of posting a made up word except FR. I don’t do FB, Twitter, Instagram or any social media at all. If you do, you can try it as well. Just make up a silly word or unique combination of letters and or numbers, then post it on that site, then immediately google it to see if it comes up...................
We know what Trump stands for he is very up front and loud about it and that is why we support him over the GOPe candidates who carry the cheap labor express water to the suckers who keep voting for them.
Build the wall, deport all illegals, brings jobs back to America for Americans, cut taxes and govt regulation, crush ISIS, do right by our vets. That is about half the list of policies Trump is being very clear on for his time as President. Plus we have a actual way to crush the GOPe corruption via Trump!!!
I think a few in this thread missed your tagline...grin.
“Trump wouldnt exist without eight years of Obama”
Or if the Republicans had lived up to their promises and commitments they made openly to the voters instead of those hidden commitments and promises to K Street, the U.S. Chamber and other “power brokers”. The deals with democrats to always have enough Republican Senate or House votes to approve democrat appointees or to pass or defeat legislation as desired by the democrats. Republicans have squandered the majority we gave them. We need to dump all Republican leadership, Senate, House, RNC, RNSC, RNCC. These are the ones who caused the dissatisfaction not to mention their meddling in primaries and changing the rules for the presidential primaries to favor the rino losers they want to shove down our throats. We have allowed those who would be democrats if they needed to be to get elected to control our party, people without principle.
But sadly enough here on FR, there are a lot of people who arent getting the joke.
They love the bombast, the arm-waving and the red-meat attacks but by large, many of them have no real idea what Trump stands for or let me rephrase that, what he currently stands for.
No, it’s not that we love the bombast and the red meat. It’s that we were looking at a sorry charade again in the presidential election. Unlike you purists voting in echo chambers not connected to actual political reality, we saw a tiny chance to avoid the predictable kabuki of a GOPer to “coalesce behind” who will lose to the Democrat. TRUMP ISN’T PERFECT but he’s better than a GOPer or a Dem. And you have to admit that. We had nothing to lose by liking Trump.
Best of all, unlike either the a GOPer or the Dem, Trump takes on and slays the Beast that Rules us, the Media.
“During his rally in Mobile, Alabama screams of white power could be heard from the audience. “
Well you can’t keep all of the Jeb! and Jorge Ramos fan club from infiltrating a large rally and trying to make it look racist.
GOPe concern trolls are concerned.
Yes...but are you electable? Can you get the necessary soccer mom vote?
It wasn't????
Just damn..... (thanks for ruining my day....)
Cries heard at Hillary, O’Malley, and Sanders meetings: “White lives DON’T matter!”
Oh, Laz can get the soccer moms...
