Though Fox News hosts remained largely silent during Donald Trump's first spat with Megyn Kelly, the channel's personalities were quick to defend their colleague Tuesday morning after Trump again decided to ridicule Kelly.
Trump had patched up his relationship with Fox after commenting that Kelly "had blood coming out of her wherever" during the first Republican presidential debate. However, on Monday night he said Kelly was "off her game" upon returning from vacation. He also retweeted a comment calling Kelly a "bimbo."
During "Fox and Friends" on Tuesday morning, co-host Brian Kilmeade said Trump's tweets attacking Kelly were "totally out of control" and "unwarranted."
"You cannot, you should not be going after her," he said. "He is totally out of bounds reigniting that fight. I don't know if he expects to get ratings out of that, or poll numbers, but he's not going to be successful."
Numerous hosts and contributors on Fox News followed suit with tweets defending Kelly and calling out Trump's retweet of a comment calling Kelly a "bimbo."

As I recollect, Kilmeade used the word unprofessional when discussing Trumps tweets. I think that sometimes Trump would help himself if he explained his rationale before just blasting away
..Fox and Friends has actually been good to Trump as they have had him on for a 10 minute interview every Monday morning for qujite a long time.
Trump is starting to look like a petulant child
Poor Jerry has seen the latest scoreboard. It's called winning.
Trump seems to have sided with Obama and the Libs against Fox. Not a very smart move.
I hope her ratings go down the toilet!!
I like this thread.
Oreilley is an instinctive liberal who decided to make a lot of money as a talk host. He is smart enough to know one can't do that as a liberal so he adopted the necessary views. Sometimes he gets it wrong, however, if he has not researched Conservative Views on a particular point and then has to back track or shut up about it or paint himself into an untenable corner defending it. Both will end up supporting Bush.
Trump is sending a clear message to the media: You will be put on defense, not me. I love it. It is why he’s winning. He’s taking it to the media and it is long overdue! They have never had to deal with this before.
Probably retouched but that’s one of the few pics of ValJ where she didn’t look like an alien...
Squealing over tweets. Who is thin skinned here? lol
Why would any anyone that calls themselves a “News Network” and have on staff, a two-bit phony Heraldo, a reject from PBS Juan, a loser like Colmes, a GOPe Perino, a Wallace who won his job because of his last name, and so on to idiocy. They have been a failure for years so what they have to say is not relevance.
Most of what they have to say is little more then a regurgitation of the Inside of the Beltway BS. Faux eggheads trying to look and act like intellectuals and not making it.
Megyn was bashing Trump and promoting Bush on immigration on her show last night.
What’s that Conservative News Channel again?
