Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly returned Monday night to host The Kelly File following a 10-day vacation, but her extended R & R seemed to have no relaxing effect on her loudest critic: Donald Trump.
In a series of late-night tweets, Trump accused Kelly of being “off her game,” and suggested she “must have had a terrible vacation” because she was “afraid to confront” her guest, Dr. Cornel West, on the subject of immigration.
Trump followed up his tweets with a couple of retweets from supporters who called Kelly a “bimbo” and her show “a waste of an hour on Fox.”
“The bimbo back [sic] in town,” said one tweet, which Trump reposted into his own timeline. “I hope not for long."
The Republican front-runner’s infamous feud with Kelly -- sparked in the aftermath of the first GOP debate, which Kelly co-moderated — reached a crescendo shortly before her temporary leave of absence, when Trump made a comment appearing to reference menstruation as a reason for a line of questioning he believed was unfair.
Trump went on to suggest several times that Kelly’s vacation was ordered by higher-ups at the news station as a result of the fallout from their post-debate friction.
Fox News pushed back on those claims, saying the time off was scheduled months in advance.
Unfazed, Trump repeated his allegation tonight on Twitter.
"I liked The Kelly File much better without @megynkelly,” the businessman tweeted. "Perhaps she could take another eleven day unscheduled vacation!"
Reagan should’ve just called Baba Wawa a bimbo then so he could be as presidential as Teflon Don.

During the Zero era, the media played too much of an important role.
Trump is putting the media back where they belong. He’s not giving an inch.

Grant was a humble, decent man who bravely led his men to battle. Actual battles, that is. Trump is a brash egomaniac who “fights” Twitter feuds. Trump (and his “bone spurs”) would not be fit to shine Grant’s shoes.
Trump is a counter puncher - he doesn’t start many fights but he finishes them.
I think he is prepping the Battlefield, serving notice to all the other journalists that flake out that we will not take any prisoners. Trump has decided the media is key terrain and he will dominate it.
MK is a casualty of a nasty war . She didn't see this one coming: a candidate that will not play nice and "take it." Watch Trump dismantle the liberal media when it's their turn....or anyone else that gets in the way.

I think it’s great. After decades of cowardly RINOs that let the MSM control the discussions and have the last word -mew finally have a candidate with the b*lls to beat them at their own game.
He controls the issues discussed and they never get one last snarky comment - because he attacks right back when they start it.
You want him to be a politically correct coward who loses. Back Jeb or Walker then.
Calling them out is one thing. Beating the subject to death is another.
I would rather hear some specifics about his agenda, not read about some petty Twitter feud with Megyn Kelly.
He should just ignore her and she will go away.

Thanks so much for your opinion. Many of us are frustrated and angry with the Jebs and Meegans and enjoy Trump's jousting with them.
I suspect Trump and his billions are working on issues with experts, so don't worry your pretty head.
I didn’t say anything about not communicating using Twitter. I said that getting into Twitter feuds doesn’t make him a “fighter.” Which, y’know, it doesn’t.

No, I don't (well, I do want him to lose, but that's neither here nor there). There is plenty of room between "not being PC" and being a narcissistic reality TV star who gets into Twitter feuds with anyone who says something mean about him.
All those are along the same lines as ‘The bombing begins in 5 minutes.’
