Oregon is in the midst of its third consecutive summer of severe forest fires, and industry professionals say logging limits on federal land are largely to blame.
The fires have already made their costs felt, as the Oregon Department of Forestry has already spent an estimated $25 million to date on this years blazes. This comes on the heels of two consecutive severe seasons in 2013 and 2014, the former of which was the most destructive wildfire season in the states history.

Most likely more CO2 being produced by these fires than a year of US industrial production. thank you Obama.

Yes. So hard to control those country hicks clinging to their guns, Bibles and the last vestiges of Liberty.

Wasn’t trying to “educate” you. You are already aware of what’s going on.

I feel for those with respiratory problems. I have gotten so sensitive to smoke that I can’t even use my little charcoal grill anymore. I don’t know what I’d do if I lived in forest fire country, I’d move I guess.

I wish someone would bring up how much “greenhouse” gas a fire like this produces. The global warming people want the same people to manage “global warming” that cause these fires and “manage” them.
