I can't think of any candidate who Romney would hurt more than Jeb. If Mitt actually thinks he can peel off some of Trump's support, he hasn't been paying attention.

YEB would go from 8% to YEB and Romney 4% each and Trump at 32%. Actually it's not all that bad when you think about it.

Well, the big money guys have to find someone they can support. Jeb has turned into a screw-up, who knows what’s going to happen to Hillary (in spite of her Wall Street and Clinton Foundation connections) - another screw-up, so who?

Maybe they are looking for a Biden vs. Romney matchup. They can control both those guys.

Jeb was supposed to be the chosen one. If Romney is thinking about it Jeb’s numbers must really look bad.
