I guess the GOPe DON'T get it! We aren't taking it anymore! To quote Trump's Song! These are desperate attempts to get their choice in but seriously too many are just fed up with the Washington insiders! Trump momentum is bringing Cruz up only higher which is a plus, Carson Too!

Romney’s wife is said to have extracted a promise last time that he would not run again. It was rumoured widely that she was done with politics.
Since she has a serious chronic illness, I believe it to be true. He’s the “head” of their household, per Mormon theology, so what he says goes, but really doubt that she would want it.
I really hope he listens to her. No more Romney. No more Bushes. No more party picks. No more “Its his turn”. No more “He earned it through favors”.
Just this once, let’s try earning the nomination through hard work and merit.

It would be fun to watch Bush and Romney compete for the same old GOP-E money, er, I mean "votes".

Romney thinking about getting in It seems logical, with Hillary losing ground. Who else are the Dems going to put up? Joe Biden? Sanders? Jerry Brown? Wassername Shulz?
LOL I see what you did there

That is the funniest thing I have read all week..

Well, the big money guys have to find someone they can support. Jeb has turned into a screw-up, who knows what’s going to happen to Hillary (in spite of her Wall Street and Clinton Foundation connections) - another screw-up, so who?
Maybe they are looking for a Biden vs. Romney matchup. They can control both those guys.

If Romney declares AGAIN he will FOREVER diminish himself.
I doubt Mittens is that stupid.

17 ain't enough... and ROMNEY can save us from the aftermath of Obama, when he couldn't beat Obama during a time of high negative Obama sentiment.
Translation, this is a trial balloon, Romney wants to make some campaign cash that he can keep, if possible.

So is this the “October Surprise” that William Kristol was writing about?
If so, its not much of a surprise.
Romney couldn't win in 2008 against a weak Republican field and he couldn't win in 2012 against a vulnerable President in 2012. I think Mitt is overrated by the political class and a lightweight. If he runs, big deal. He may get 10% of the vote on name recognition but that would be about it, IMHO.

“Wouldnt Romney split the Jeb vote?”
Yep. And that’s about all the votes he’ll get. Maybe he’s just floating a trial balloon. Hard to believe he’s serious.

Trump is a conservative poseur and charlatan, but even I have to admit I wouldn’t mind seeing Flip-flopper 2.0 rake Flip-flopper 1.0 over the coals.

I would actually like to see Romney go up against Trump. That would be an interesting debate.
