PARIS — The gunman who was disarmed by passengers on a train in France two days ago looked weak and malnourished and said he had only meant to rob people, a lawyer who interviewed him after the attack said on Sunday.

"(I saw) somebody who was very sick, somebody very weakened physically, as if he suffered from malnutrition, very, very thin and very haggard," the lawyer, Sophie David, told BFMTV.

” American servicemen sued for beating impoverished homeless muslim immigrant . Obama justice department promises full cooperation... “

Sued? I doubt it. The Obungler will see that they face war crimes trials in The Hague by next week. After all, in the Obungler's eyes, taking this terrorist to the dirt, was a crime against humanity. How dare they take down one of the Obungler's kinsman? They must be made to pay. I don't really need a sarcasm tag, do I?

Actually, he was trying to help the passengers on that train. They were going toward France, and ... well ... it's FRANCE, for cripes' sake.

Now granted, that defense isn't likely to get him far in a French court, but it's every bit as logical as the one being proposed.

Over at the Daily Mail UK (what a great news site!), several commenters pointed out that the claimed “robbery” is a cover story that the jihadis are trained to use if they are caught.

There was a story last week that at least 16 ISIS fighters contracted Aids/hiv from 2 Moroccan “ sex slaves” and were then ordered to become suicide attackers

Was it this one?

The lawyer, in my nation (in my mind), would be hanged with him for saying that.

The adversarial role of attorneys is inherently corrupt. It should be to uncover truth, lies, and assist in reaching an appropriate verdict. Lying through one's teeth for money is uninspiring. Bravo to the American heroes who saved lives.

two large Marines had just pounded the heck out of my noggin. ....Please, please. One hero was a Army Reservist and another was an Airman. Quit with the Marine crap. Stick to the story.

8 spare mags and the one in the weapon plus a handgun and a box cutter. Overkill for a train robbery. He’s lucky all he got was an Alabama azz kicking.

I JUST watched the news conference with the three American heroes. I have not been as proud to be an American since 0dungo got elected as I was DURING THIS NEWS CONFERENCE. Amazing and a 'GOTTA SEE' event! The U.S. Ambassador was OUTSTANDING and SURPRISINGLY DIDN'T APOLOGIZE FOR AMERICA as one would expect from an Odungheap employee.

This news conference was OUTSTANDING and what a bunch of extremely brave, humble and gracious young men. It was an incredibly proud moment.

Well, it was first reported, ON FR, that they were Marines, complete with many “OohRahs”. - Story keeps changing by the hour. NOW the jihadist has lawyered up and she has a brilliant slant on it. (It *could* involve some “trans” twists & turns. - Oh. . and don’t lecture Twinkie! She gets enough of that crap! - Daddy was WWII Army; so get outta my face!!)

Aloha Snackbar

I like that quite a bit. It should creep into the douchebag lawyer's defense.

My client was just a young and exuberant bon vivant trying to start a conga line.

"Aloha Snackbar!"

"Free bullets for everyone!"

"Party! Party!"

Bacon Bits? Those wouldn’t last with us. We would just mindlessly toss them on our salad before we thought. No; the can of potted pork & lard is better for me. I’d have to stop a second & think before I pulled the thingy on top. -
Oh! And the thingy can double as a sort of knife of sorts. I usually manage to cut my own finger on it; but I don’t mind dipping my hand in the can & dipping out the canned hog inside.

Never thought I'd say this about an official working under 0dungheap, but this Ambassador did a beautiful job introducing these American heroes.

“If he was hungry he could have sold the AK, the handgun, and the ammunition.”

True, good job! You just destroyed that line of defense in one sentence.
