Depending on when he said it, it might have been true at that time. Certainly if he said it before 2006, before Obama and also Bush raised the national debt by 15 trillion dollars. 4 trillion might have done it back then.

I have always loved the Wizard of Oz. It’s one of my favorite movies.
I had an English professor in 1st year,who suggested that The Wizard of Oz could be considered an allegory or maybe a ?metaphor for the excesses of capitalism, with Dorothy as the working class, Glinda The Good Witch as the wealthy ruling class, the Wizard as the politicians, and the Wicked Witch as the scapegoat.
I got out of that class and said to myself “this professor is crazy”.
I went home and talked it over with my father, who laughed long and hard. He said “I see this professor did not fool you”.
I knew then, that I would never be a liberal. It was quite a revelation.
Miss my father-he would be loving this Trump/Oz thing!

If Hillary does survive the email and other scandals, she may be weakened going into the fall 2016 election. It does seem that many pundits and politicians think she won't be the nominee -- as she may quit or lose it again.

In 2008 and especially in 2012, Obama won the Dem nomination easily. That meant that, in open-primary states, Dems could cross over into the Republican primary to vote for the weakest Repub. If the 2016 Dem primary is an actual contest, that is much less likely to happen.
