The first sitting Senator to endorse Trump? (It’s all about optics)
State ping.
CNN said stadium almost empty.
Ah I have EYES!!!
As many as 40,000 people may turn out to see Donald Trump speak at Ladd-Peebles Stadium Friday for Donald Trump’s rally — the biggest event so far in the 2016 presidential primary campaign.

Huge threat of thunder storms. They had half a stadium packed from 50 yard. Just like a Barry Manilow concert I went to.
Jeff adds credibility no question of that
Yep! Jeff seals the deal. Trump is offering him the opportunity to be relevant again and at center stage!!!! Politicians can’t resist that. If Jeff is a gambling man he could gamble Trump will become prez and he can be the one steering his immigration policy. He as to get firmly in the Trump camp and pull away from the dying GOP.
Oh yeah, I bet it has nothing to do with the fact that Trump is proposing a 35% tariff on imports to “force” factories to build in the USA.
Sessions has always been a Trade Protectionist and Isolationist. Starting a tariff war would kill exports and hurt jobs in the long run, but when people haven’t learned basic Economics 101, its a moot point I guess.
Kinda like when Trump using leftist talking points to attack the Insurance Companies. Tammy Baldwin could have been giving that part of his speech with no difference in what was said, but I guess that doesn’t matter either.
Yeah, this is a runaway freight train that will derail off the tracks and set the real conservative movement back decades. I see words that come out of Trump’s mouth, but I don’t believe he has any core beliefs in anything he says other than, if it makes the audience get riled up, he’s for it.
I will continue to support Cruz and will write his name in the General Election if the only choices to choose are between an unashamed liberal and a pretend conservative. Hopefully people will come to their senses by the time real voting starts. If not, this country’s further deterioration is on them.
Well all the candidates have problems including Cruz. 90% of his large donors fund his superpac so you have to wonder what he will owe them!
I honestly do not care. The Republicans are pathological liars and have screwed us for the last 10 years. No point in voting for them.
If Jeb gets in Hillary or whatever democrat gets the nomination will win.
I’ll take my chances with Trump.
Sessions doesn’t care about the center stage. He just wants what’s right for this country and the American people. He is and has been a true American patriot. Trump could have no better endorsement.
They got a name for the winners of the world,
Quiero un nombre when I lose.
They call Alabama the Crimson Tide—
Llameme Yeb Boosh,
el tortuga feliz aye aye aye
Yes! but it must be very demoralizing to be ignored. Trump is offering Sessions the opportunity to be relevant again and to make a huge historic difference.
Love Steely Dan and that song in particular
And I love Senator Sessions!
I think Sessions is a good guy. I still think Ted Cruz is a very smart guy, the debate champion, understands the dynamics of the SCOTUS, and would be an excellent asset to Trump over and above what Sessions would be.
Trump/Cruz 2016
I should have added, and Cruz will in time have many delegates to add to Trump’s. Sessions won’t.
It’s amazing that this is happening now, 5 months before Iowa.
When has that ever happened before?
