I’m a human being and my story is that the invasion by illegals is theft of my children’s and grandchildren’s birthright, Marco!
So he should adopt every last one of them and make them part of his own household. It’s the compassionate thing to do.
People living in Germany and India and China and Australia are people with stories. People living in Cuba and Yemen are people with stories. That doesn’t mean that they have a right to come to this country and suckle off the public teat at taxpayer expense. These idiots and their muddle-headed compassion.
Yeah, Marco, there are three or four billion human beings around the world who have stories and could improve their prospects if they could get into the US and establish some sort of “anchor” that allowed them to stay.
How many does Marco wish to see come here and find that anchor? If he can’t say no to one, he probably can’t say no to tens of millions.
Strawman.
Oh Marco, Marco, Marco...you just proved yourself to be as incompetent and fatuous as your detraaactors have been claiming. Scratch today’s Marco and Chucky’s boy from the gang of 8 is lurking!
So what. That is just a smokescreen to avoid facing the truth. The parents are not legal. They are breaking the law. The new born is not a citizen. Go home where you belong.
“Marco Rubio: Anchor Babies Are People, Human Beings With Stories”
So?
His heart is cashing checks with money we don’t have.
Rubio is another “compassionate” conservative. Never mind that 300,000 to 400,000 anchor babies are born annually in the US—one out of every 10 births. Never mind that the costs of their births and medical care are being borne by Medicaid. Never mind that they receive Medicaid, food stamps, housing assistance, free K-12 education, etc. The US taxpayers pick up the costs and the social safety net for American citizens is undermined. Let’s here some of their stories.
The Rubio campaign is officially toast.
Apparently Mexico is putting the kibosh on any Americans sneaking INTO Mexico.
Mexico "Getting House in Order" By Cracking Down on Border Security
This has to be a top contender for the Utter Irrelevancy Award, and makes Rubio a contender for the Political Darwin Award for 2015.
WE? Is Rubio an anchor baby?
The duty of any office holder in the Federal Government is crystal clear; it is to the Constitution; to those the Constitution seeks to protect; to the rooted citizens of the federated States, including--in the clearest possible language in the preamble--the "posterity" of the Founding Fathers. Protecting that posterity involves the survival of the culture that has made us the most prosperous collection of States in human history.
Marco Rubio is very good, I have applauded him for several years, in expounding on why our economic system works so well, when it is allowed to work--not, really, since Obama. But if he cannot separate compassion from duty, he is not fit to serve; he is not observing his oath; he has compromised himself, as surely as if he had taken a bribe to ignore his duty.
Life is full--has always been full--or hard choices. No one ever said public service was supposed always to be easy. But it involves duties, and we can no longer afford--and thus tolerate--people willing to compromise those duties.
I feel compassion for Marco Rubio in this--a variety of the compassion that he expresses, but directed at the fall of one, I hoped would be an ally; not someone here because of criminal connivance. But that compassion I feel for Senator Rubio, will never blind me to my duty.
...who are citizens of the other countries from which they arrived and belong there, not here.
Mr. Rubio, do you lock the door of your house at night, or let anyone come in to do as they please? I’m sure they have stories to tell as well.
Hey, Marco. EVERYONE has a story. That does not give them them the right to invade another country.
