Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) pushed back against fellow Republican candidates who use the term “anchor babies,” including former Florida governor Jeb Bush and billionaire Donald Trump.
In an interview with CNBC’s John Harwood, Rubio insisted that these children were human beings.
“Those are human beings and ultimately they are people, we’re not just statistics, they’re humans with stories,” he said, when asked by Harwood what he thought about Donald Trump’s plan to block citizenship for babies who were born to illegal immigrants in the United States.

Every human in the world “are people”. Not all of them are Americans.
His parents were the kind of immigrants we want. Most of those entering illegally are not the kind we want.

Rubio, would it be possible to say something a little less stupid the next time you open your mouth? I know I’m asking a lot, but we’re trying to raise the level of discourse amongst the GOP candidates, but you keep bringing the average WAY down.

Yes they are, and Mexico should do more for them so they won’t feel compelled to leave.

Sad you think babies aren’t human. I do see them as human and as citizens of their parents’ country of origin where they need to be returned to.
I also think with 90 million unemployed we have lots of people to help escort them to the other side of the border. We can use the welfare programs they will no longer mooch off to pay the costs.
So what? Americans are human beings with stories too, stories about losing jobs and educational opportunities to “anchor babies” and stories about their taxes being misappropriated to support it.
Rubio is the spawn of an illicit affair of GHW Bush and a social worker.

Stick a fork in this untrustworthy idiot. You will never know where his true loyalties lie, and whose party line he chooses to follow. He definitely does not have the best interests of the U.S. in mind. This guy flips his POV more times than a wheel on a NASCAR entry.
