“Not surprising given the nonstop coverage MSM is giving him. Wonder what would happen if they turned that off?”
They can’t afford to - he’s boosting their ratings through the roof.
Here is the link for a live thread tonight
I’ve never posted an article so if someone wants to maybe they can post it as a live thread.
If you cant be there heres where to live-stream the Trump rally in Mobile Friday tonight:!
Win or lose, Trump needs to keep pulling ALL of their pants down.
Megyn Kelly or Monica Crowley?
Much better for the song’s rhythm.
Good. I’ve done some rhyme, not as easy as most would think.
Anyone know if tonight’s rally will be televised?
If you cant be there heres where to live-stream the Trump rally in Alabama Friday tonight:!
Thank you
.....”In other news, the GOP considers banning Trump from the debates”.....
If the GOP establishment martyrs Trump...that would simply harden his support and move Trump to take his support with him to a third-party candidacy.
I would not put it past the GOP to risk/accept a potential Biden/Hillary Democratic win rather than loose the power they weld currently by their tight association with Demorats.
Rhyme is great. My cousins, sister, and I, all PKs, used to pass our time in boring church services re-writing lyrics of hymns.
I used to do some kick-ass limericks, too, but not so much any more (senior moments).
I bet The Donald will pull a lot of Reagan Democrat support. He is saying the right things about the problems with the country that even they can see and understand.
Trump gives off that aura of a great boss that won’t put up with crap from lazy employees and rewards the hard workers. The working class won’t envy him because he is rich if they see him as a strong leader who is fair minded and a great boss with a great company and they all want to go to the annual company picnic because it will be a hell of a party.
i think i have more of a clue than you do. Trump has a long history of embarrassing personal life escapades. those will come up in the general election. he's worked with the mob on his casinos, he tried to have an old lady evicted from her home by eminent domain so he could build a parking lot, he started life with a million dollars worth of slum rentals given to him by his father (yes, Trump was a slumlord), he quit the republican party in 1999 claiming that the party was "too crazy right", etc.
the same sort of mass hysteria that swept up the democRATS and made them support Obama in 2008 is now affecting lots and lots of conservatives about Trump. Trump has held literally every position on every issue at one time or another... so instead of listening to what he says, people seem to just be cherry picking the positions they agree with from the time they agreed with him. on day he's pro abortion, then next he's not. one day he favors a wealth tax, the next he doesn't. one day he's pro gay marriage, the next he isn't. he's all over the map. do you honestly think the democRATS and MSM won't bring all of this up during the general election?
Trump serves a useful purpose now, but he will be a disaster if he's the nominee. i'm not anti_Trump, but i can recognize a snake oil salesman when i see one. i've followed (at a distance) Trump's antics for the better part of the past 30 years. i know who he is. he's NOT a conservative. he might not be a liberal either, but he's not conservative.
and don't make a mistake, i'm not making that dumb GOPe "electability" argument. i could care less about RINOs who are supposed to be more electable. i care about conservatives. i care about running real adult campaigns about the issues. we need candidates who can articulate what we believe in and persuade those on the other side to join the fight. Trump makes for good soundbites for TMZ. that's about it.
all i'm saying is that people need to be 100% sure they won't have buyer's remorse when they support Trump over Cruz or Walker or somebody a bit more serious about the job of the presidency.
Ah, your wife is a Crumpet!
Carson (although I love him) is to soft spoken to be Trumps partner, Cruz and Trump would be a perfect pair!!!!
They will fold in a NY minute because of money, Trump doesn’t NEED their money!!!!! OH MY what to do, what to do!!!!! GO TRUMP!!!!!
No question.
The funny thing is the GOPe cut down on the number of debates because of how much they hurt Romney. They figured the debates could only hurt the candidate who had the most money and could sail to the nomination on advertising alone. They didn’t expect that someone NOT of their choosing would have the most money this time. Now they wish they had twice as many debates for more chances to knock him out.
