That liberal RINO-puke Kevin Williamson appears to be suffering from either an overdose or no dose of whatever meds he ought to be on. His hateful spew would never have been tolerated by William F. Buckley. WFB would have bounced his ass right out the door.

Every "Free Trade" deal includes money to retrain American workers "displaced" by the deal. Why is that?

BTW "displaced" is nice way of saying laid off, mortgage in jeopardy, marital strife and creating a life long socialist.

Take out the first three paragraphs and the last sentence, and you’ve got a spot-on dissertation.

I can’t remember did Ross Perot surround himself with conservatives like Jeff Sessions?

I mean before dropping out because he claimed that republican operatives were planning to disrupt his daughter’s wedding.

The idiot says that trade restrictions that other countries put on American goods has little negative effect but it would be a disaster for the US to reciprocate.

Unless I have strong evidence to the contrary, I will continue to believe the reason Trump has it in for China is because they repeatedly got the better of him trying to make deals.

What does Obama know about US trade that Trump doesn’t, Mr. Williamson?

“Trump fancies himself an ace negotiator, a skill that he has had some chance to hone in an embarrassing series of corporate bankruptcies”

LMAO. Who the hell is Kevin D. Williamson? Trump is worth billions and owns property all over the world. By any reasonable standard he is a very successful negotiator.

I checked the numbers and last year the US ran a $343 billion deficit with China, a $53 billion deficit with Mexico, and a $67 billion deficit with Japan. Trump’s position is that the trade deals with these countries need to be renegotiated so that they become more balanced. Does Kevin D. Williamson disagree?

Trump says that he is in favor of free trade. What Kevin D. Williamson doesn’t get is that in the real world, trade deals need to be negotiated. The numbers don’t lie. The politicians made bad deals with China, Mexico and Japan. Trump is right. Kevin D. Williamson is wrong.

Limbaugh Compares Trump To Perot In 1992

Here's another explanation on WHY Donald Trump is NOT another "Ross Perot" .

So Rush DID NOT SAY that Trump was NOT in it to WIN.
Rush has an entirely different thought about Trump.

Good article. There is no such thing as a ‘trade deficit’. There cannot be as every trade Americans make in the marketplace is fully paid for in US dollars. It is idiotic to believe that trade should be balanced or reciprocal.

That federal law prohibits most crude-oil exports is proof that we could be even richer but for government’s heavy hand on the market. Those who would demand tariffs should first explain how the sugar tariff benefits America. Look it up. Analysts estimate that the sugar tariffs enriches just 5 families in America.

Trade restrictions by foreign governments simply punish the citizens of that nation. Trump’s policy proscriptions for trade would be disastrous for us, but him bringing the issue to the forefront is of benefit. We can do a general regulatory and tax repeal to supercharge the economy part of which can be removing the restriction on exporting oil. They also might pass a Respect for Private Property bill that forces NIMBYs to absorb the losses of owners not allowed to build, essentially loser pays. That should cut down quite a bit on nuisance suits in federal court.
