Michael Medved made a very convincing argument that this is an accurate figure.
He said that if there were 30-40 million illegals democrats would be screaming to have an accurate count because it makes a huge difference in the representation in the number of democrat members in the House of Representatives. Democrats would benefit from taking members away from the Republicans.
As much cheating as democrats are capable of they cannot make a case for more than 11 million.
That is a very compelling argument.

Many California government officials have stated there are between 14-16Million illegals in their state.
