Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton responded to a question on whether she tried to wipe her server with “What, like with a cloth or something?” During a press conference on Tuesday.
Hillary was asked if she tried to wipe the entire server so there would be no personal or work emails on it. She answered, “Well, my personal emails are my personal business, right? So, I — so we went through a painstaking process and turned over 55,000 pages of anything we thought could be work-related. Under the law, that decision is made by the official. I was the official. I made those decisions. And I just said, over 1,200 over the emails have been deemed not work-related. Now, all I can tell you is, in retrospect, if I had used a government account, and I had said, ‘You know, let’s release everything. Let’s let everybody in America see what I did for four years, we would have the same arguments.'”
She was asked again if she tried to wipe the whole server, to which Clinton said, “I have no idea, that’s why we turned it over –.” Asked again, she answered, “What, like with a cloth or something?” She further maintained that she doesn’t know how the server “works digitally at all.”

She emphasizes that the official is permitted to determine what emails to save under the State Dept rules but she also claims that she did not do it. Her political operatives did it.

I look for her defense to be “I’m just a cavewoman lawyer.”

Part of me genuinely believes she will.
The PollyAnna half of me is convinced that America has enough functioning brain cells left to elect a conservative. The ‘practical’ half knows that if it meant winning, a bunch of conservatives would help elect her because they proved it in 12.

The can be pardoned. But a pardon is an admission of guilt. So, if he offered and she took it....
She would NEVER do that.
Bill will rat her out just to get rid or her...he seemed to be yelling at Buckwheat the other day about that. :-)
If he pardons her for everything she did up to the day he leaves, what exactly does someone base a prosecution on? The underlying crimes were washed. She would have to OJ it and screw up something new from that point onward.
You know full well it will be spun as “The Republicans are making shit up so I do this premptively to end their witch hunt and admit no guilt”. And the media will run with it.
