CNN)Donald Trump appeared to contradict his own immigration policy proposal Tuesday, just two days after releasing a detailed outline of his plans.
Trump said he wants foreigners who study at American universities to be able to stay in the U.S., but his immigration plan released Sunday would make it more difficult for foreigners to obtain certain visas and green cards that would allow them to remain and work in the U.S. legally.

Seen it and it doesn’t tell crap other than CNN is projecting their nonsense.
Like I said,
CNN makes things up.
Trump would control the number of school visas and work visas.
So what are the numbers now under Obama? Trump could cut the numbers significantly if its needed.
Not a contradiction. Trump said this more than a month ago previously (and specifically within the context of European students), and doesn’t negate any part of his plan. Trump did not call for an end to immigration, and CNN is retarded insomuch that that is what they think he called for. He called for giving American jobs to Americans first and raising wage requirments for H1B1. IOW, only the best and brightest of immigrants is what we’re aiming for here.
Can you explain how that contradicts any part of Trump’s immigration plan?
Ping
Yeah whatever.
Just try to pretend there is no opposition and we’ll magically disappear.
LOL
I believe absolutely nothing posted by you !
But Nice edit - hack job
So you want to be controlled by DC elites too .
I don’t !
Good point
Trump said he will deport all illegals:

The other candidates havent even said the word deport because they are owned by their big donors that donate millions$
The laughs on you.
There are 900,000 foreign students in the US and we bring in 640,000 guest workers a year.
"The influx of foreign workers holds down salaries, keeps unemployment high, and makes it difficult for poor and working class Americans" ~DJTrump
"I want talented people to come into this countryto work hard and to become citizens. Silicon Valley needs engineers, etc." ~DJTrump
Whose immigration plan do you like better?
Thanks the Obama benchmark.
I won't hold my breath waiting for any candidate to say that.
I thought that Trump will deport just the illegal law breakers.
That’s what happens when you’re winging it.
I would suggest that Trump is responding to a question and does not intend to go full circle describing his immigration policy every time he answers a reporter’s question. That would get tedious.
Most of MIT is Asian or Indian. Some are brilliant and worth keeping. Let’s invite the cream that has risen to the top.
I see you’re going around making fake tweets again, LOL.
(For you Trump folks, that was a joke. A joke).
This thread reminds me of a conversation I had earlier today with a Trump supporter. I laid out my reasons for not backing him...it was a fairly lengthy post.
The response?
“But why are you against Trump?”
In fairness, you are a nasty, vile, piece of work who has personally come after people who disagree with you on this forum-- accusing me, for example, of being a "liar" for pointing out that you don't care if your candidate wants to deport illegals (even though you directly said that "no one will deport ALL illegals! I'm a realistic!"). So, of course you'd have a conflict.
Trump's plan gives American jobs to Americans first. It doesn't stop immigration. The first quote is also primarily aimed at the crappy end of the people we stuff into this country. The second quote-- which is something he's said before at least a month ago-- is in the context of bringing people in who are the best of the best, which is exactly what his plan calls for when it raises requirements for Visas and requires certification that these people can pay their way in this country.
