Of course it does. He has the same “Pen and phone” that Zero has when he changes whatever he wants.

All he has to do is enforce the laws on the books, illegal immigration will end.
14th Amend. Just needs to be interperted by Constitutional justices. It was never meant for this.

OK. Let’s say he is right and nothing Trump says on immigration ever happens. Hypothetical.
The more important point to me is this issue crystalizes how Trump thinks and responds on such “sacred rail” issues. I think Trump’s mindset on this immigration issue might be very well be extensible to other issues.

Congress hasn’t been used since Obama was elected. Prez Trump can sign his own executive orders - the new American way.

Maybe I missed something in Trump’s immigration plan but I don’t think it requires congressional action. It just requires executive enforcement of existing laws and adherence to the constitution.

Unfortunately Rubio, you sided with The Schmuckster on this issue, therefore, you have little credibility. Sorry buddy.

Most of Trump’s plan requires no action by Congress. It’s just a matter of enforcing existing law.
Something we haven’t had in 2 administrations.

Guess we need to get a new Congress.

Rubio: You have no chance of winning the Presidency!
Rubio: Your rehearsed canned answers you spit out don't impress me either.

Rubio: Trump immigration plan has no chance in Congress Just as YOU, "Marco the Rube", have NO chance whatsoever in the presidential race.
To: maggief
Obama has honed the precedent of going around Congress to get his way.
It will be difficult, if not impossible, to re-bottle that genie.

Congress is not needed to implement Trumps “plan” simply enforce current immigration laws and fund the already approved by congress border wall.
