If that message was not being delivered by this messenger, few people would have heard it.

I don’t think I agree with this.

Trump is for the things he should be. Trump is against the things he should be against.

Trump appears to be the only one.

Conservatism is a way of life. It is successful by track record. It is common sense.

It can withstand a non conservative getting the message out

Same reason conservatives can watch liberal speak while liberals cannot take listening to conservatives

I would mostly agree, it is the message not the messenger BUT...

There is another cliche that applies: "How you say something is just as important as what you say." The unapologetic confident forceful method comes into play. Many conservatives say similar words, but in more polished unoffensive ways. It seems many people are looking for a bold fighter.

The message also has to be said by someone that has the attention of the national media. Others can have a similar message, but will not get the headlines every time they speak.

I agree the message is the largest part. The message shows the difference between Trump and Yeb, but there are other aspects to it as well.

I am a Cruz guy, but I am enjoying watching Trump getting his message out.

Disagree.

Trump not only is saying these things that need to be said, he has the balls to stick with them and the money to stay in the race the distance.

Other candidates (Rubio comes to mind) have been co-opted by the party elites because they lack the money to run nationally without being bought and paid for.

Cruz is my first choice. I don’t think the party elites (who want Jeb obviously) are going to let Cruz be the nominee.

So I’m voting for Trump.

We need to destroy the Republican party (the Uni-party RINOs) and rebuild it.

Trump can do that.

That’s ridiculous. Any other messenger would have cowered and apologized 100x over by now. OF COURSE the messenger matters.

Trump is a moderate but not a Republican moderate, there’s a difference. And he’s the kind of moderate that really exists, not the kind of moderate Washington likes to pretend exists.

I’ll be careful voting for a millionaire promoting H1-B visas, that takes away from American jobs.

I’m a Cruz guy. I like what Trump is exposing.

If your guy (and/or mine) can’t beat Trump, that’s the fault of your guy or mine.

Obama bows to Saudi princes and other foreign leaders, apologizing for America's greatness and exceptionalism. Obama has disgrased this nation and her history; Donald Trump loves America and we love this new Cheerleader who loves us....not the one pictured below making a fool of himself and his country.

...“Democrats have opened our borders to all manner of horrific Third World violence, crime, and disease. The GOP has supported and endorsed this vile activity every single step of the way. Trump has tapped into the fury of the American people over the unrelenting anti-American NWO push of our paid employees in government. Trump could win this on this one issue alone. Americans are tired of being betrayed by their government on both sides of the aisle.”...

To me, it looks like the unholy trinity of the Dem/RINO/media axis is burning through a lot of ammo they had laid in to use on Cruz. Seriously. Cruz's presidential bid was slated to die the political death of a thousand cuts, outnumbered by the RINO competition in step with the media who were gonna throw rocks at Cruz, marginalize him and drown him and his message out - just like they do already in the Senate. Sure, stick with a plan that works, they thought. Then Trump happens. Now there's not one but TWO of these guys that are off the reservation. And the new guy is louder and more animated that the original target. Ah "WTFWTFWTF!!" Can't say it's by design, but probably one of those odd convergences of history, where there's something of a tag team effect going on here - Trump is outside the government slinging a war hammer around, while Cruz is inside the government, wielding a scalpel with precision. It's a double threat that's left the Axis's original plan in utter shambles. The RINO gang is trying to hold on, waiting for Trump to get torpedoed any day now, they hope. They need to find Trump with a live boy or a dead girl, and fast. Buckle up, it's gonna be a wild ride.
