Fun read.
“the Leviathan of Government” has absorbed and assimilated nearly every organ of our society to it’s purpose- growth.

This headline reminds me of a joke: (please bear with me)

I love that joke...

Easy: America and Americans have traditionally been brash, politically incorrect, and harsh.
Freedom doesn’t conform. It lives on its own terms. There is restraint but it is self imposed, not externally imposed, and therefore, genuine.
Americans long for the real reality, someone who has no problem being himself. Not hard to figure out except for those steeped in worrying about what others think which is the basis of “political correctness.”

This is exactly why Trump may be the best choice for this time.
It will take an outsider to slay the dragon.

Great post!
"So woe to the chattering class who mistakenly believes Trumps supporters are just a fringe protest vote. They are indeed protesting, but they do so as the New Protestants, coming forth from both major parties along with independents, sorely aggrieved at a dysfunctional government guilty of far more than 95 transgressions. They arise together in fury because our once great government has clearly become destructive of operating by the consent of the governed, and it is therefore the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government."

Exactly, we need a dragonslayer. The others, Cruz included, are too careful and willing to play along.

Yes! And the ones that consider themselves to be the elite ruling class would do well to keep that in mind.
