Des Moines, Iowa (CNN)A helicopter landed here just after noon on Saturday, causing a short but violent windstorm. Large trees shivered; small ones bent nearly sideways. Dust swirled up from the parking lot, stinging the eyes of the onlookers. The pilot cut the engines. A man got out of the helicopter. He wore white shoes and white khakis with sharp creases and a red baseball cap that said MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. He strolled across the searing asphalt and stood at the edge of a field, where nearly 100 people waited to find out what he would do or say next.
"We have quite a few children gonna take rides today," said Donald Trump, billionaire, celebrity, entertainer and Republican candidate for president. "Where are the children? Get them over here."

Up the Rainbow Bridge to Asgard...
Well the Batman president, for better or worse, will have taken getting personal to a new level.
And that is good even if some of his policy ideas are not so good.
It will have taken the We The People out of the zombie zone.
Cruz would make a good ROBIN... BUT indeed a far better President..
In short, hes not a pussy.
True.... if indeed he IS all pretends to be..
Some founders were wealthy men as well..
But I do not believe him.. do not trust him father than I can {spit}..
SO.. It’s Ted Cruz OR...... learn Chinese..
The age factor would make it more sensible for Trump to be the Batman, and Cruz to be the Robin who moves into the Batman position in 8 years.
Just as a gut take, and there are many possible slips yet between the cup and the lip.
Why did you repeat that specifically to me? I read it the first time you posted it. So I guess you are going to sit out the election ‘cause it’s already decided...by the pre-ordained voter fraud.
And by the way, I am quite familiar with the Music Man. The setting of this 1957 epic by Meredith Willson is Mason City, Iowa, about 120 miles north of where I grew up.
Looks like you have a problem with your ‘shift’ key...lots of misplaced capital letters...
Coming soon, Trump The Movie starring Christopher Walken.
touche’..
Why did you repeat that specifically to me?
Don’t remember.. too many posts ago..
I really set off the Trumpsters... nice to see it’s possible..
When I watch Trump.. Robert Preston comes to my mind..
I can hear him doing his bit (preston)...
I laugh............. as Trump is like a double...
I love Trump.. in that way.. brilliant..
But I do not buy snake oil..
Actually Trump should polish his “Harold” act.. it’s pretty good..
“I really set off the Trumpsters...”
Well now, ain’t you a proud one!
{blush}....
{blush}....
Funny how the Headline implies that Trump just made the comment off the Cuff. The Media lies all the time.
Oh, you just know the MSM is going to spin and twist this. The headlines will be
"Trump wants to wear undershorts over leotards like Batman."
"Trump wants to play comicbook hero."
And so on. I hate the MSM
From a Report at the Iowa State Fair on Trump’s arrival.

(I was just 1 car length behind), I began noticing people standing in their front yards holding signs that read We Love You Donald. Since when did you ever see someone say we love you when that person is running for President?
Entering the back gate was almost as bad as trying to get a front door spot on Thanksgiving night at Walmart for sales beginning at 4:00 AM for the Black Friday. People were literally running (yes full-grown adults) down the sidewalks approaching the entrance yelling hes coming, hes coming!

Bruce Wayne was the idle rich.
I through the he was the head of Wayne Industries?
Maybe later.
In the fities and early 60s he didn’t have a job IIRC.
LOL! Perfect!
Trump is having the time of his life. He is making running for President a blast—He just does what he wants and he is honest. He might well make an excellent President after all. He will be hated by a % of the people (just as Reagan was)—but he will get things done!
It really seems that he is enjoying himself and I believe he is honest. He really does want to Make America Great Again.
“...brilliant rendition as a republican Music man, con man.”
He is definitely a self promoter and his current positions are not entirely consistent with prior public statements. I personally prefer Cruz at this point. That being said, Trump is a businessman, a very smart businessman who knows how to close the deal and get things done.
He says he has evolved on a number of issues important to conservatives. I think we need to seriously consider taking him at his word. But I think if he is only taking these positions to bolster his popularity with conservatives, his record needs to be examined to see whether he kept his word on business deals. I don’t know the answer there. Some have tried to tie his companies that went bankrupt to his personal integrity. That is not a fair analogy - businesses take risks, some win and some lose. I don’t believe there are examples of him taking someone’s money on promises to do one thing and then doing something totally different with their money, or that would have been used against him already.
There are lots of issues to consider for all the candidates. I have trouble with several Trump positions (e.g., eminent domain for private development...) - so will have to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of a Trump candidacy. He is looking to be treated fairly - and as a smart businessman if treated fairly and ultimately seeing he will lose, he will likely cut his losses. But if not taken seriously, he can do ultimate damage and Perot the election.
We gotten no where for so long. If Trump builds the wall on border, stops illegals from coming in and deports them, that would be a huge win. I wouldn’t care about the rest!!
