My first exposure to Dr Ben was a video of him talking at a deal in Washington where Obama and Moochele were in attendance. Moochelle was giving him all kinds of coquettish (gag!) goo-goo eyes, that is until he started to take apart Obamacare right in front of them. This seemed to launch him as a political voice and force. I loved it.

Hilary remains superslick her lawyers have told her she has no jeopardy from the email Fiasco so she doesn’t have the guts to go after Trump so she goes after Bush who is an easy target

The liberals will fight harder against a Ben Carson than they ever would a Trump or Fiorina.

Why?

Because they desperately do NOT want any kind of black role model, say a black man who became a neuro-surgeon despite being raised in the ghetto.

Look at how they are crucifying Bill Cosby!

Now it does look like Cosby had some x-rated escapades in his dressing room and perhaps he was not the kind-hearted character he played in his show. Still and so, I’m willing to bet that there were plenty of other actors, white black and of all colors, famous people....offered willing females (and believe that those females were very willing no matter how they try to act all shocked and victimized) for their pleasure that the stay on the show or star in the movie.

I hope Ben Carson has a clean past.

I think Trump/Carson would be a good solid ticket.
Neither one takes Super PAC $
Carson is strictly grass roots donations. Trump is self funded.
Carson’s cerebral demeanour and solution oriented ways would bring balance to Trumps forceful leadership and generalized solutions.

Hillary not going after Trump but attacking Bush is like the animal activists who pour fake blood on rich old ladies who wear mink instead of pouring blood on Hell’s Angels wearing leather jackets. (And yes, as I was typing that the image of Jeb! Bush wearing an old rich woman’s mink coat came to my mind’s eye. And what has been seen cannot be unseen.)

Wonder why Face the Nation is wasting their time with Miss Lindsey. He’s irrelevant.

Beautiful you, dearest fishtalk!
I'm so sorry you're experiencing family troubles. Prayers for you, your daughter and her missing dogs.

Thank you so much for your excellent and wise words regarding our Free Republic!

Also, while I’m introducing.....I want to insert a good word here about FreeRepublic. If you haven’ donated yet, well hey, if you are using this forum, YOU SHOULD.

Funny about FreeRepublic....over the years the site has grown more valuable to me. Because the concept of online advertising might seem a capitalistic good thing, it drives me nuts. Every time you sign into a site you got to wait many minutes for their godawful commercials to show up. Sometimes the advertiser doesn’t do their job and the site just freezes up, sometimes for days at a time.

FreeRepublic has the easiest, most pain free way to view current events, converse with other like-minded people, free from the virus’ that also attack from those ad-filled horrific sites.

So contribute to FreeRepublic before they start getting advertising that will render this site awful.

Many thanks and blessings for your stellar post!
These 2-month long FReepathons are taking a toll, not only on Jim, --- typing is getting more difficult for him --- but also on Jim's FReepathon Team: (we're down to bare bones = primarily 3 or 4 of us).

FReepers ALWAYS come through and we all know this economy sux, but it would sure be helpful were our wonderful, awesome, loyal donors to make their donations during the first month!

Most members already know if they're going to donate, so I wish they wouldn't wait till the last moment, but God bless them regardless.

"I think" Jim would opt to shut down FR before he would ever entertain "paid sponors/ads."

One last comment before I go off to take the grandsons to see Thomas The Train at the Union Railway Museum; if Michael Brown had had a job, maybe he would have not been compelled to steal those cigars. Look where that got him.

Now the thugs in charge, which would include the likes of Jesse Jackson and loser-berger Al Sharpton t al...do not want black role models as they rather like having black people think they are oppressed or mistreated. Then they (the thugs) can come in and be heroes and save the day.

“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”

I could live with, mostly happy, a Trump/Carson ticket but I still prefer Cruz over Trump.

If you held a gun to my head I’m just not sure I could pull the lever for a Donald Trump for President.

Well of course I could if he is, after all the debates, primaries, yada, yada....the Republican nominee. He’s not a “no way” in my list as is, say, just throwing it out there, a Jeb Bush.

I do have concerns about Trump as our President because....well I dunno but I can see him in negotions with Iran and jumping up, shouting “You’re fired!” and walking out the door.

Which would be better than Obama is handling things I know but Trump as President of the United States?

I am a bit concerned about that.
