One last comment before I go off to take the grandsons to see Thomas The Train at the Union Railway Museum; if Michael Brown had had a job, maybe he would have not been compelled to steal those cigars. Look where that got him.

I suspect if Michael Brown had a set of decent morals, he would not have stolen those cigars, physically threatened the store owner, nor assaulted and tried to murder a police officer. He ultimately would have done it (or something similar) whether he had a job or not.

Michael Brown had his moral screws loose or missing, not a thin wallet. That was his problem. From the looks of him he certainly wasn't starving to death or in desperate need of a new pair of shoes, any shoes.
