There is some evidence that there may have been at least five - first two used on Japan, third on the way, one in reserve at Pearl Harbor and another ready to go back in the States. More in the pipeline at the time, of course.

That’s why the entire city of Oak Ridge and it’s complex was built as part of the Manhattan Program. The Y-12 complex built to produce the material for A-bombs.
