Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s top aides, used personal email accounts to conduct government business in addition to a State Department email and an account on the controversial server Mrs. Clinton kept at her New York home, the State Department confirmed to a federal court Friday.
The State Department admitted to the judge that it doesn’t have control over those documents, and can’t be sure it has all of the records from their time in the administration.
John F. Hackett, the top open-records official at the department, said they have officially concluded that Ms. Abedin and Ms. Mills “used personal email accounts located on commercial servers at times for government business.” Ms. Abedin, meanwhile, had an account at clintonemail.com, the domain tied to the Clinton home server.
Mr. Hackett also said he has no way of knowing what else might be out there, and has to trust the two women and their lawyers to turn over what they have.

Hillary had all her emails sorted and disposed of everything they could. They still couldn’t hide the Classified items that have been found. They are bound to find the emails used by Mills and Huma(and others) just by a quick review. I don’t think anyone is actually looking at the paper emails, thumb drive, etc... They are just sitting somewhere waiting to be disposed of when someone yells “Look Squirrel”.

Trust my a—, that is what the FBI is for. This becomes more and more unreal as time goes on.
The State Dept is in full CYA mode, because there were a number of people who knew Hillary was using a private email account, and did nothing to stop it. 4 years, and she didn’t use her .gov account? No one noticed? 4 years and she didn’t activate her .gov account? What was the IT security dept doing all this time. There is as big a coverup going on at the State Dept as there is in the Hillary camp.
After all of this, anyone who claims to be a Democrat is just another thief.

Read the attached instructions carefully. In particular note that you should compare any emails to or from Hillary Clinton with her official “That’s it, you have them all” list. Any discrepancies could lead to a perjury conviction of Ms. Clinton.
State is correct in that THEY cannot do anything about this after the fact.
However, with clear evidence of crime, the FBI and Federal Prosecutors can obtain warrants to seize all these bits from the email provider, if the email provider doesn't just turn it all over upon request.
They'll likely just turn it over.

Exactly, there is a big coverup at the State Dept for letting Hillary use a private account. They knew she was using it and as investigations go deeper, heads will have roll there too.
Be certain the FBI has done that, maybe weeks ago.
Also probably has seized any/all commercial email accounts of everyone they believe involved.
And by now they are following up on every address in/out, reviewing content and following up on all the traffic in/out of those 3rd parties.
They MUST determine the extent of the leak of Top Secret information...not just the email, the information.
This may take months but they WILL know.
This is not an issue to be solved by State.

I hope you are right, but how much pressure will the White House put on the FBI to limit their investigation?
I have no doubt the FBI has already identified the 2nd and 3 level of communications associated with Hillary.
And, in addition to all past bits in their possession, they are now in full wiretap mode, seeing who is driving the cover-up and who is at the heart of the conspiracy.

You have to understand, the State Dept is also in a liability position, for letting Hillary use a private account. They knew and did nothing. A violation of security procedures in itself.

The fact that we have an investigation, that it's all over the news with information leaking, says Obama, Lynch and Comey are all aboard.
If Obama has intervened, it is only to an extent to classify everything with his name, or the name of key WH aides, classified TOP SECRET.
