Though Rick Perrys lack of campaign dollars received the most attention this week, whispers are now circulating of a possible second GOP candidate giving serious consideration to dropping out of the race by the end of this month New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
Paul took the position the governments surveillance powers were significantly over-extended while Christie implied the senators views were dangerously ignorant and little more than hot air. Days after the confrontation between the two men it appears more voters are taking Senator Pauls position over Christies as the New Jersey governors poll numbers continue to be stuck between 2 and 3 percent approval in both Iowa and New Hampshire. Senator Pauls numbers have increased slightly or stayed the same in both states following his debate performance.
Christie is said to be preparing a final designated push in both of those states in the coming days and if that fails to improve his standing, he will most likely bow out by the end of the month.
Never understood why he is such good buddies with Jerry Jones. Lots of his constituents are Eagles and Giants fans, big rivals of the Cowboys.
Oh, that’s right he is still in the race.
Maybe he should talk it over with Graham. I assume graham got a new cell phone?
Christie votes would go mostly to Bush (fellow RINOs).
Some might go to Walker or Kasich (fellow governors and/or union busters)
Please keep Christie in! He’ll split jebs “stupid Republican” vote.
I figure Christi is getting the not jbush votes.
Atlantic City? He did. That’s where at least one of the bankruptcies happened. Chapter 11 reorganization I would assume, so there is probably still a casino there he has interest in.
Bush would be even better as a Democrat. I haven’t heard him take any position that isn’t the same as Hillary.
That’s a shame. Christie is a big government liberal, the most like Jeb. I wanted him to stay in the race as long as the current Bush does to split the establishment votes.
“Where do his votes go?”
Good question. Bush or Fiorina I think. Both RINO’s that do not threaten the GOP-E. Fiorina has the combative manner and may attract the folks who liked Christie’s combativeness. So I would say more Fiorina than Bush.
Perry is history too.
Bush would be better a caddie or perhaps in the white house on the janitorial staff. Then he could clean up DC!
Do we have a pool on who will be the 1st dropout?
I actually prefer that Christie, Little Jebbie, Kasich, the Huckster, Limp Wrist Linda Graham, Pataki and the Rube stay in the race to the end splitting the liberal vote. Perry, Paul, and Jindal need to drop out now.
He ate them.
Cruz also isn't talking deportation and has stated that "after they secure the border" that they can have a "conversation" over illegal aliens after that. See, that's the scam. Same argument National Review makes, and these fools will declare that it is impossible to deport them all so we'll have to grant them legal status. They'll say it's not amnesty because they'll have to pay a fine or something.
That's the BS of this position stating that there will be a "conversation" after securing the border. No thanks! How about a pledge to deport everyone like the law requires?
